I dont know man Darnell Wright would be a good pick.
He certainly has the most dominant play of say, the top 4. Just happens to be at RT. He imposes his will better than any of them. If that's what you're looking for.

Coming from a guy who's already commented on race in this thread, I gotta think this is more racist drivel.
Yeah, Louis Riddick is real deserving of a GM job in the NFL and the ONLY reason he hasn't been given one is because he is black. You are so right!

It has nothing to do with the fact that he is a clueless moron that no team would EVER want to hire as GM.

And yes the NFL has a rule that teams must interview minority candidates for GM jobs. This is why Louis has had a couple interviews when he isn't qualified for a GM job.

Facts do not equal "racism." I even made the point to say that it isn't racial, it's just a fact. Try your little race-baiting game on someone else. Pathetic attempt you displayed here.

Even attempting to paint scouts as racist for their thoughts on Darnell Wright. Again, PATHETIC!

Let's take a little deeper look at this blurb. Bob Mcguinn, who used to write for The Milwaukee journal sentinel (which is like the onion for sports journalism) talks to "anonymous scouts" and then attaches these quote, unquote.. quotes. Every year these steaming pile of dung blurbs surface from Bob (regardless of who he's writing for) and every year they prove to be worthless. Leave it to a packer fan to blindly follow Bobs work.

Too funny!

Bears fans are quick to say Bob McGinn is credible when he spews negative BS about the Packers, but when he gets a slightly negative quote from a scout about a draft prospect you like he is the devil. I guess you never read me saying Bob McGinn is a complete anti-Packers hack.

Bob McGinn isn't a NFL scout, but I do believe he has credible scouts as sources. And he has no reason to hold any bias against Darnell Wright.

He does have reason to be butthurt about the Packers barring him from the media auditorium at 1265.

I've never, in my entire life heard a bear's fan, or any other person consider Bob credible. Well, until now. Congrats on being Bobs first fan?

You don't read this forum much then. There are countless threads on CCS that include Mike Florio articles that quote Bob McGinn spewing BS about the Packers.

Don't attempt to spin it and claim I am a Bob McGinn fan. Too rich! I will make you cry with my knowledge of what an anti-Packers hack Bob McGinn is.

I do trust multiple NFL scouts when they say Darnell Wright has character issues and is lazy. It's not just the one scout Bob McGinn used as a source.

So you lied. He hasnt been begging for a job but actually has had job interviews.

Also jackass, when he interviewed for the Steelers, Giants and Jags jobs they already had other minority candidates that interviewed as well. Omar Khan who got the Steelers job is a minority.

So you are flat out lying. They did not interview just because of the Rooney rule. They interviewed because they thought he was qualified.

What makes your post appear racist is you are implying teams cant find enough qualified minority candidates to interview and so have to interview unqualified ones.

So just to be clear are you saying there arent enough qualified minorities to interview? As if so why interview unqualified ones?

Or you can just admit you are mad because Riddick shit on Rodgers and the Packers.

I assume you don't know what Louis Riddick makes at ESPN. Less than any NFL GM, I promise you that.

And money isn't the only reason Louis has been begging for a GM job for the last 10 years. He actually delusionally believes he is deserving of a GM job in the NFL.

Speaking of delusional….. how’s Ms Piggy doing?

Baldy didn't even blink when asked of the top 4 who he'd take at OT

Cool, I am just telling you the Bears have reasons to pause if Darnell Wright is available at 9.

Skoronski will be the better NFL OT. Mark my words please.

Wait. So you fully admit Bob has a history of hack like tendencies but still choose to believe he's credible in this one particular area. Because blind faith. Too funny indeed! Let's pretend for a moment that the quotes are credible. Scouts are well known for spreading misinformation. It's part of the job. So you can take the blurbs at face value. Or you can understand, that historically, and this is a fact. That the vast majority of these quotes amount to **** all. A smarter person wouldn't pay them much mind with that knowledge. But I understand we may not be talking about smart people here.

And when Skor doesn't play a snap at OT in the NFL what will your spin be?

I'd be fine with any of Wright, Paris Johnson, Broderick Jones, or Skoronski. They are all upgrades to anyone on this line except for maybe Whitehair and Jenkins( assuming either can stay healthy)

The talent is there in the trenches and the Bears need to finally bite the bullet and build up the foundation of a quality contender in the trenches.

I'm so sick and tired of time and time again when the Bears need to address their Oline and Dline they draft one or two linemen, & maybe a late round scrub lineman, while signing a bunch of scrubs off the FA scrap heap to claim the area is addressed.

This drafts talent is in the trenches. Do the right thing Poles and stock up on talented linemen.

It’s a solid draft for DL but it’s widely regarded as very poor overall for OL.
