Wrong, Rodgers extension was only to financially guarantee him the starting job through 23'. We offered him the same deal going into 21' but he didnt want to accept it then.

Wanting two more years of the league MVP is pretty understandable. If we werent sold on Love, we would have given Rodgers a longer contract for more immediate cap space, but instead, we were only willing to financially affirm Rodgers as starter through 23'.

Even then, it looks like we may be moving on from Rodgers a season earlier then planned. That is fine with me. Make him sit the bench, or restructure and get traded or cut.

Not to mention, that pass to Watson was great, Love was under pressure, quickly found the open read and threw a dime. Also, look at his passes, perfect spirals, elite velocity etc. Mahomes 2.0

I’m not saying Love is going to be great. Because there is no way of me knowing. But just like any QB, he will need experience. This may help him out or not in the future once ge plays some games after Rodgers is done. Plus he has the luxury to be in the same room as Aaron Rodgers the whole time. So we don’t know if this kid will suck for sure and that we are going to beat the packers and Love all the time. We don’t know that yet because it’s too soon to know that.
