Ditka was always yelling at people. His press conferences were classic. "No. Next question." "Yes. Next question" That's what I grew up with and I'd like to see that fire and intensity on the sideline again.

But that fire and intensity doesn't make you any better at football. And don't bring up the '85 Bears as an example, they were a fantastic football team that didn't win because of their coach. Just look at where Ditka and that same "fire and passion" left the Saints franchise after everyone in Chicago realized that maybe his teams were winning in spite of his yelling, cursing and obnoxious behavior and not because of it.

No, it doesn't but that's the coaching style I like. Lovie looks to me like he's contemplating which flowers he's going to grow in his garden in the spring. I don't think you can judge Singletary's coaching ability based on his short time with a pathetic team that doesn't have any personnel. Lovie has had long enough to build a championship team and can't do it. He's no better than Dave. When the Bears have made it to the playoffs under him they've been outclassed. The Super Bowl was more about being lucky than good.

If they could have anybody I'd want Gruden.
