lol...I thought it was a consensus of all the coaches coaching the game who make the decision. If anything, Bosh starts that game.

yeah. it would make more sense to start a PF at PF haha.

I hope Thibs plays LBJ, Wade, and Bosh all 48 minutes. :shifty:

A BIG congrats to Luol Deng! I certainly was surprised when they announced his name! In my opinion he is very deserving, and the coaches who voted him in seemed to think so as well. Thats what I like to see, the coaches, those who actually know the game, voted him in! Job well done!

Congrats to Lu. Nice to see some more Bulls getting some recognition. Also...this is Iggy's first ASG? Wow...thought he'd have at least 1 by now. :dunno:

He did say Deng shouldnt even be discussed as an All-Star and for us to stop talking about Deng being considered an All-Star.. Now he is one. FT fails.

That's why I think being voted in as a reserve is more prestigious than being voted as a starter.

Uhh no. I never said he wouldn't be one. I just said he doesn't deserve to be one.

He's an AS and doesn't deserve it.

Same thing I was saying a week ago. Nice logic fail though.

I thought those games out would hurt him. He has come a long way, as I stated in the past, a lot of people labeled him soft and thought his contract was an albatross. But he made it and I am interested to see how he reacts to the weekend.

By dribbling off his leg?

My statement says nothing about you saying he wouldnt be one. My statement says "He did say Deng shouldnt even be discussed as an All-Star and for us to stop talking about Deng being considered an All-Star"

You don't think Deng should even be concidered for an All-Star reserve?

No.

Not in the least

I think it can be argued

No it can't.

Stop.

There obviously was an argument for Deng being an All-Star or the coaches would have dismissed him.

And he shouldn't have been and there is no argument for him being on the team. Especially over some guys that were left off.

There still isn't an argument. The coaches were ridiculously wrong.

Deng made an AS game he didn't deserve to. I'm sure he'll get a parade or something.

Keep trying though.

It's cute.

Thats all nothing but your opinion, such is the coaches who pick the reserves as well. Its all opinion based. You know how they pick the reserves, they base a lot of it on record of the team, some guys still get in on lesser teams, but as you see, Deng and Iggy made it even if there were some more deserving guys (Such as Jennings and Ryan Anderson) based on their teams records. It may not be right, but its how reserves are picked in this league.

CONGRATS TO LOUL DENG.
I'M GLAD HIS HARD WORK HAS PAID OFF AS HE WILL GET THE RECOGNITION HE DESERVES.
I THOUGHT HE DESERVED IT LAST SEASON, BUT BETTER LATE THAN NEVER.
THIS WILL BE THE FIRST TIME THAT THE BULLS WILL HAVE 2 PLAYERS REPRESENTING OUR ORGINIZATION DURING THE ALLSTAR GAME SINCE JORDAN AND PIPPEN.

AT THIS POINT ,THIBBS LOOKS LIKE HE WILL BE COACHING THE EAST ALLSTARS.
I WONDER IF THIBBS PLANS ON PLAYING LOUL DENG FOR THE WHOLE 48 MINUTES, LMAO!!!

I think this means his currency value just rised from 5 to 10.
