Somebody who enters a movie theater with 3 guns and a canister of gas is a terrible person. If they can't rationalize that injuring 59 people and killing 12(so far) is a bad decision, they didn't just "make a mistake", they're a hazard to society.

Which is why seeking help for mental illness shouldn't be frowned upon and should be suggested. If mental illness didn't have such a stigma, there would be less of these crimes.

Someone has to help these people.

Very true, but the problem is that most people who have serious mental illnesses either hide it deep down or refuse to get help because they're stubborn or think that there isn't anything wrong.

Me and Crystallas were watching the news feeds and listening to the police scanner in the chatbox as it happened last night, def a scary situation.

Yeah, I had no idea. Nearly the whole active web had no idea. Yet, you found out somehow, then we were listening to scanners, because no media was on it. Crazyness. It wasn't until almost 90 minutes after the incident, that you could actually pull up a link from a local news outlet saying anything.

As the word was getting out, people left and right kept talking about the whole mess being linked to an Iran terrorist plot. So a lot of us were like.. Oh fawk, here we go again.

:smh:

It sickens me hearing that these things happen, regardless of if the guy was mentally ill or not. That doesn't justify it. I have a friend who was a victim in the NIU shooting years ago so this kind of hits close to home for me. Just. :turrible:

So this guy was also wearing basically a full body armor suit...Sounds like he was trying to be a mesh of the Joker and the kid from the movie Rampage.

Couldn't believe it took that long for a major news organization to even say anything about it. I found the link from a Retweet on Twitter by a celeb.

Eh...I guess I wouldn't rule it out, but I doubt that's actually the case.

They say the FBI sets up things and then prevents them before they happen...good job there then? It then says that government routinely murders millions and then cites extreme governments like Hitler's Nazi regime. First...he killed like 12 people, not 12000. Hardly seems to fit that description of "murdering millions." Yup...America is the new Third Reich guys.
