We should've had 2 points tonight. Brodeur won that game. I'll settle for 1 on the road.

This.

Finally, when I see Kitchen with the dry erase board, drawing up who knows what, I want to disembowel a badger with an oyster knife.

yah apparently this org has no love for Hayes anymore. That's real nice of them.

Is Hayes also hurt or what? Really would rather have Montador playing forward and Odonell in than have Hayes play forward and Montador play the position he plays?

IOts not as if this org has ever cared about playing proper shots on the proper sides anyways if that's what they are worried about.

not only that, but at least send the kid to Rockford instead of having him rot in the pressbox.

After watching the line change that led to the NJ goal, is there a site that shows breakdown by penalty? I'm curious as to the # of too many men calls against/for the Hawks. Seems as if the Hawks coaching has sucked in that aspect.

Marty sure is ove-rated.

clownshoes!!!!! our pp sucks so bad. why do they play with the puck so fucking much when its 5 on 3? PEPPER SHIT YOU DUMB ASSES!! Did we even get a fucking shot? Pathetic.

You have that right...I am on a project in Connecticut so many nights all I can watch is a game from around here and I Marty is "Blisters on your dick" bad...we just made him look good and some awful luck helped. We kept thinking the plays all had to be masterpieces untl Seabs showed us that a simple point shot is more than his cataracts can deal with. You would think that after that simple wrister from the wall went through his legs and wide we would start shooting from anywhere. Nope. Gotta be a Rembrandt.

Too fancy tonight, but I will take one on the road.

what a horrible line change on the devils pp goal. Who called for that fucking change?.

The clearing attempt hit the ref and they all thought it was going the length. Someone leaving the ice should have noticed but it was a bad break (there were many in the game).

Was Montador playing forward so we could keep O'Donnell in the lineup? WHY? It also looks like Montador will be out again!

I figured it was because it was his first game in a month and a half and they wanted to test him with limited minutes. Hopefully he's OK from the elbow to the head.

Yea it was unfortunate that the puck hit the linesmen on that Devil's PP that lead to a goal, but poor (timing or otherwise) line changes have been a bane of the 'Hawks for the past two seasons. Not as much as the Hawks PP, but enough to be a difference in games.

Speaking of Hawks PP. I was amazed as shit how aggressive the Devils were on the Hawks 5-3. Not that it is a suprise that you can challenge Hawks players on the PP and usually derail it, but damn to presh that hard when down by two players is pretty impressive.

Well, the 'Hawks did get a point and gave an effort for it, so not too much to complain about. Hawks odds of getting into the playoffs are now 99.95% Just need two more points (at this relative point in time), to get the lock.

The honey badger does not care.

I actually get the reference...Woo Hoo!

It would be funnier if Kitchen had the same voice as the "Narrator", but unfortunately, it's just Canadian.

Apparently we would prefer to run 7 defensemen, and have one of them be a fourth line winger.

That's why they are the #1 PK in the league. It didn't have anything to do with the Hawks. They are like that with every team.

Even worse not get sent back down where he could actually get minutes on the ice.

I recall a camera pan into the crowd. Mrs. McDonough appeared to be bow-legged and had an unusually satisfied look on her face.
