The more i've watched him these playoffs,

the more I think Krugz is one of the Hawks unsung heroes, especially this series.

He's fierce in the faceoff, and I think he's been a little dinged up lately.

Plus he's one of the more sexy swedes in the league:

At least his GF thinks so...

He is the modern rat with a bit less of the visual rat qualities

Stalberg and Hank are sexier :yep:

Hes never going to blow anyone away with stats but hes the backbone of that 4th line. 4th liners are the unsung heros of hockey esp guys like Kruger who are good in the circle and give honest shifts everytime. Never liked how the media claimed him as a mini forsberg back in the day as he was never going to live up to that. Q did well to groom him and discover his true skill level. Kruger is a champ for accepting his role not bitching about it and playing. I have become a big fan over the years of the guy.

What everyone else has said!

QFT!

I mean, there's not a lot to say about the guy as far as from someone like me that is just getting into the sport. He passes the eye test though - plays with a lot of heart, he's rarely out of position and has a knack for some clutchness here and there. Just solid hockey and never dissappoints as far as I'm concerned. Maybe I'd like to see him put a little more weight on his frame and get a little more into hitting but that's kind of just me. I'm still pumped about him though and don't feel like he's a liability like Pez feels about most of the team...

Sorry to Scoot off topic a bit. But do you feel last night's win was a little disappointing?

I was a little disappointed when people started blaming the refs for things getting close, and disappointed that some of the physicality I was seeing from the Hawks didn't erupt into some fights (I'm kind of a sucker for hockey fights if you didn't know) but I was really happy that they pulled off the must win.

I've already started composing a pump up thread for Saturday and bought a new cell phone battery so I can post from BW&R.

Nice!

I just wish the Hawks could be like the other teams in the league and just win like 14-0 sometimes. I'm sick of them always letting in a goal or two and it really makes a 5-2 win disappointing.

Did you know there's a BW&R in Naperville?

Yeah but I don't go there on game nights so a certain poster doesn't show up and ruin my gamenight experience by complaining the whole game.

On non-game nights I always go to the one in Naperville.
