The problem, though, is that the majority of the time they are not. And, sometimes, the fear of accusation of being dubbed a "money-grubbing whore/slut/whatever" is exactly what prevents the abused from reporting anything.

It's a very, very complicated issue. I can see why Marshall would be expressing these viewpoints having, apparently, been burned twice by these accusations. The first being w/ Watley and the second being that nightclub incident just after the Bears had acquired him. But I don't think this was the forum for him to express those viewpoints.

If he'd skipped beyond those viewpoints, then B & B would have no ammo to use on him.

This is about the culture of "profit over everything" that seems to have reached a climax in the NFL under Goodell's watch.

Cliff notes....ESPN lied. Brandon marshall is pissed. Thinks violence problems start at the family. He had evidence of his ex trying to fleece him for money. Bernstein accused Marshall of denying everything and defending Ray Rice and of stabbing Marshall's ex-girlfriend.

from my brief scan it sounds like Marshall came off like a disturbed person out of his element and that he did a shitty job and damaged his image. Is this the case?
