Lets see who he hires as his offensive coordinator. That is as important as the head coach hire. To be honest, hiring these veteran head coaches seems to never get teams back to where they want to go. I prefer going this route with Eberflus

exactly this. the most important position in the NFL is the QB.. so getting a HC that actually can put together a game plan to help develop that QB should of been the top priority.

Right now if we have ANY success on the offense and Fields looks good next year.. there goes your OC for a HC job and you are back to looking for another OC..

The head coaches job is to be a leader of men for all three phases of the game. Not just offense
