Trubisky was bad, but Nagy was truly King Turd on top of Shit Mountain.

Did no favors for his QB. LaFluer was just as bad, but when you have a HOF QB he can overcome that.

When the pass rush is getting to your QB, and there is no arguing that it didn’t. He was pressured on 40% of throws. In a one score game you can mix in some screen passes, quick slants, and RUNS to help manage the pressure.

Trubisky was shook, but we all know he is not good enough to win on talent alone.

I thought the opposite actually.

All game, they were pulling out 5-7 step drops with full progressions. Mitch is not good at these, and he indeed sucked at these tonight.

But the high percentage 5-7 yard plays—slants, outs, screens, quick throws—Were almost all pretty successful. In fact, I think they showed a graphic showing he had a 95+ passer rating when letting go of the ball in less than 2.5 seconds.

On the last big drive when the Bears actually got into a rhythm, it was via those quick hits for 7-8 yards a pop. I was thinking, “Where the hell was this all game?” And the Packers weren’t in a prevent defense at the time, so it wasn’t that.

Montgomery looked great, then barely saw the field.
WTF?

Did you miss last season when anytime Howard was playing well Nagy would immediately pull him?

This is a hallmark of a Nagy O. He gets bored when a player is too successful so he stops using them and plays a lesser player just to prove how much of a genius he is.

Watching this playcalling shows he has no trust in Mitch as his QB. Trick play after trick play after trick play. You can run right at this weak defense all day. He trys to get too fancy. 1 play for over 10 yards.

We will get better as the season goes on but Nagy single handedly is losing this game for us.
So he doesn’t trust Trubisky, but yet he called for 45 pass play compared to 12 runs.. lol if he didnt trust trubisky then you would think it would have been the other way around, 45 run plays to 12 passes...

He is pass happy though. However he doesnt trust any of his players. That is why he always tries to win on gadgets or fails to let Eddy kick a 50 yarder. For Nagy it is about his play call not the players.

He threw one pass over 10 yards in the first half..

He handcuffed that guy for 2 quarters.

Momentum is real. Rhythm is real. And instead of using it Nagy just stabbed his own tires.

No I think he's just in love with the passing game so he gets offended whenever the RB is doing well or some shit lol. I'm not sure I've seen a game called so poorly in my life.

Dude threw more passes to RBs than than we had rushes. That is a problem with not having a Howard time. This douche is going to wet himself throwing 3 yard passes to all his wonderfully versatile running backs instead of just run the fucking ball.

Trubisky was bad but I'm going to say Nagy was as bad if not worse. Third and inches and he hands it off to Patterson 5 yards deep in the backfield ... pitiful play call - one of many. Last season the cutesy plays with their cutesy names were ... well ... cutesy. How about trying some bread and butter kick ass football. How about trusting your o-line to give Mitch a couple inches to sneak it for the 1st down.

Agreed.

Montgomery showed that he has fucking game but Nagy told him to go **** himself after the first 1.5 quarters. No carries for Cohen either, don't get that. Have no idea why Patterson's fat ass is on the field outside of KRs.

He also really limited Trubisky early, but that's probably because Trubisky wasn't seeing the field for shit.

Cohen shouldn't get carries wunless they are tosses. It's annoying watching him run straight to the sideline.

Or giving it to the shiny new RB that you traded up to get that is known for breaking tackles.

Which is stupid if u ask me bro.. how the hell do u not trust ur kicker after he made his first fg with ease? Instead he decides to go for it on fourth and ten on what could have been a 50yd attempt..who does that? Pineiro definitely has the leg for even a 60 yarder..

Imagine having an offense that had Patterson on the field as much as Nagy did tonight. And running him on 3rd & 1 up the gut.
