Oh yeah we don’t like guys with confidence and creativity, we prefer to be good sportsman and get our ass kicked.

Are you crazy? Do you want another Dick Jauron? I want to blow teams out and embarrass them like the Pats did going 16-0.

Pick a name out of a hat while you’re at it. Make a paper airplane out of it and throw it away. I didn’t hire these guys, the cheap McCaskey’s did. I mean how dumb do you have to be to hire a Canadian football coach?, cheap that’s what you have to be. And for the young bloods on the streets out here, that’s Marc trestman. This nerd. One of the silver spoon mccaksey’s had a boy crush on him cuz he was a dumb nerd just like them.

and for bears fans to buy this? So glad I left the second city over a decade ago. Dick Jauron, erberflu, pick a name…just a yes man with no spine. No balls. Bears need some fire in the belly any man would in order to charge into the battlefield and win the game! Give me a proven leader and not some old fart like John fox.

well, I want a guy with previous NFL head coaching experience who is still in his 40’s. Not some flash in the pan because he has too much grease in there. The guy has zero class and teams will remember how he showed them up. They’ll come back for him no matter where he is.
Who are you thinking of? Vrabel is going to New England.

Also they had a different OC prior to him (obviously). He was so bad Dan Campbell took over playcalling the offense during the season. So we know Campbell does not get in the way much of calling plays for his OC's based on that. Offense changed completely when Ben Johnson stepped in.

Sure they have some bad ass players on their Offense but how awesome are they really? Amon Ra St. Brown is really good but you'd like to think our receivers even if you argue are not better are pretty damn good too. Montgomery with Chicago was totally different than he is with Detroit. They have a great O-line but are you trying to build a team in Chicago with a bad O-line? Also, who was Goff before Detroit?

I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you build a team properly: great O-line, a couple strong skilled players, and definitely a good but flawed QB, is your team going to be one of the best scoring offenses in the league? Ben Johnson proves he can get an offense performing that way.

Some odd mental gymnastics we pull here is that we want offensive coaches who can coach bad players into playing the best? We're relying on Poles to build a team of great players. Ben Johnson proved he can coach those great players into performing well. Seems like common sense though.
He's had good players but he's allowed them to be good and some pretty great. Part of this is identifying needs and filling them. I thought picking a RB that early was a mistake. Looks OK now and his O's are diverse. He seems to be one of those guys that can take whatever you have and get more out of them than you did before.

The obvious issue is his D and leadership acumen but he knows Ds. Watch him scheme against various top Ds and you see he knows what's up. It's not his fault that his HC keeps going for it on 4th down with big leads against a playoff D. What's he going to do, throw a pass on 4th and 0.5 yards. Who knows, maybe Monty at less than full strength will be a blessing for them in the playoffs and they'll punt when they have more to lose than gain.

His players love him and there's no question they are putting out 100 for him. How much of that is his HC standing behind him? No one will be sure until he gets his shot. Enough of this mediocre crap. Swing for the fences and turn this crap around. There's risk in any choice or they'd currently be employed as HCs and unavailable.

I just want to see Bears get top candidate of the offseason. We can't say over and over how "storied" the franchise is and then see them get the mediocre guy. They don't behave like a top franchise.

it’s not about me. I may work for the federal government and have two degrees however I didn’t scold the spoiled mccaskey boys like Ditka and Buddy Ryan did. They will never hire any man that will challenge them. In fact, I bet they’ll be the first NFL team to hire a girl coach. I would have offered Mike Vrabel a contract without even interviewing him. I would have set my eyes on what I wanted and go after it. This is why the bears will always be the bears until they sell the team.

Guy wanted this gig last year when he knew we were drafting CW and still wants here. I think the only way BJ is not our HC is if we do a Bear Down Spiral in this process. That said, Like all here, I don't KNOW he's the best choice and will accept another option but I want someone that will mentor CW and establish a stable O system to do that from.

This just in…breaking news. The McCaskey’s have come to terms on an agreement for Blaire Fleming to be their next head coach.

He would have still taken the offer to NE and you'd blame the Bear for being cheap etc. NE wants Vrabel and Vrabel want NE. The rest is price and we'd have just been leverage.

True... but Vrabel would go to NE no matter what.

Harbaugh on the other hand... bears have had their chances but they just don't have winning as the top priority of the team

Too bad we don't have somebody like Vrabel to interview Johnson, LOL.

Offer vrabel a contract he's not coming here.

So stupid, why would an ex patriot not want to go coach the patriots?

Never understood all the crying and moaning on here and the radio over not interviewing vrabel in person. It was crystal clear he wanted the patriots job once it opened up, and the patriots wanted him and only him. Meeting the guy in person would just have wasted more time that could have gone to other candidates.

Were you born this stupid, or did someone drop you on your head as a child? Those "trick plays" you cry about have several positive attributes. They make it fun for the offense, and they keep opposing defenses off guard. He has no class, GTFO, says who? I guess after the Lions go up 14 points, they should just shut it down, according to your dumbass, because that worked so well last year in San Fran.

I don’t really care who they get. I’m just here to mock everyone’s reactions as hilariously and ruthlessly as trollfully possible. Let the games…begin! Or actually, let them continue
