we can't talk about the Bulls recent slump? we can't talk about ways to improve the team?

what is this forum for then?

sure its some overreactions going around...but thats a sports forum for you
You can absolutely talk about those things. I think some are just a little annoyed over the whole "we should've traded player x years ago and he has no value now" kind of stuff. Honestly, the only moves that would improve the team dramatically would be as 2323 said: moving Hinrich and/or Snell in the deal. Moving Noah or Taj moves a huge component out and no one has suggested an improvement coming back. This was probably not suggested, but Taj for Afflalo would not be an improvement, just to name something. I know there have been a flurry of moves made by other teams where they appear to get significant return (Memphis for example), but I'm pretty sure GarPax is not turning down those kinds of deals just for the sake of keeping Hinrich or whoever...they just haven't come up for this team.

chisoxcity is the only one saying that and hes not even in this thread

also Hinrich has a no trade clause so unless we are trading him to another contender we're stuck with him

Why does Hinrich have a no trade clause? That's beyond outrageous that GarPax would give this to him. Seriously, what makes him so valuable that you'd give this to him in order to have him on your roster?

i said the same thing

supposedly other teams offered him more and i guess his agent made the deal that he'd sign for less to stay with the Bulls if they added in a no trade clause and they agreed

i honestly think Pax would let Hinrich sleep with his wife if he hasn't already

Annoyance trickles over and while CSC is the only one to say that particular statement, the overall sentiment that he's pushed forth is not exclusive to him.

I looked it up. It's a bird right veto. Source: http://www.hoop365.com/featured/nba-players-with-no-trade-clauses/

They didn't just straight up give him a no trade clause in his contract, it's just because he'd have his bird rights revoked if he was traded.

The majority of "talk" this past week has been overreactions coupled with NBA2k trade "improvements" so it shouldn't be much of a shock that there's a bit of sarcastic blow back. Not saying this talk is coming from you specifically, but it's been rather annoying all the "GARPAX Y YOU NO TRADE NO ONE!!??" crap when we're 13 games over .500, a mere 1/2 game out of 2nd place, all while battling injuries to key players the past 3 weeks.

What does Frankie say?...

after some digging its supposedly some weird bird right clause that allows him to veto the trade

So, where did you come up with other teams offering more?

"Over the past five games, Butler is shooting just 29.8 percent from the field and averaging 13 points."
To me, this is the main problem along with forcing it to Gasol. You cant have your two best scoring options suddenly suck, and expect not to change. Plus other teams have now seen the bulls offense, and know what happens if they take away Gasol. Bulls have to adjust if somethings not working.

Heaven forbid if Rose, Gasol, and Butler are all on their offensive games...we might actually look like a good team!

What's annoying for me is that we don't hear anything out of a few certain posters when things are going well, but as soon as the Bulls have a few bad games, there they are like flies on shit. It's almost like their negative ass attitude is justified somehow.

It gets old. Most loyal fans that I know stick with their team even during the bad times. If we were playing with all of our players and healthy heading into the playoffs it might be a different story.
