Sitting on the bench.

Yep. He was in Lovies doghouse against the Skins last week. I'm not sure what happened today.. Still though, even if he were available he wouldn't fit well. The Bears need good press CB's in this system. Could you imagine Jennings trying to press cover? I bet it would be a riot to watch him try.

You never know, he may actually play better than the corners that are playing now. But, that's not saying much

Wouldn't surprise me, but I don't think it would help the defense much. I always liked Jennings. I thought it was a mistake last year for the Bears to move him into the nickel & let the rookie Fuller start on the outside. IMO Fuller should have been the primary Nickel DB as a rookie. Jennings is what he is which is a small but pesky, fast zone CB who can play man against smaller WR's. Unfortunately he's not very stout or strong enough to handle the TE's & receiving HB's that a nickel DB will have to cover on the inside. I thought he was better off on the outside lining up against the flankers like he usually did with the Bears prior to last season.

I always liked Jennings & it sucked to see another guy from what was a good defense a few years ago have to walk.

McManis has become his own arch-enemay. His doghouse needs it's own doghouse.

He needs to be cut! And they need to do it now and make a statement that they won't have shitty players on our team.
Sherrick is a fantastic special teams player. They are asking him to cover a position he isn't best at. That isn't a reason to cut a good player. Ayenbedajo was a great ST player. As a LB he wasn't starting material.

Didn't Brendon leave and eventually start with the Ravens?

Don't really care. You can look for yourself:

You should care. You're the one who made it an issue.

4 games started over 4 years in Baltimore. Like I said. Brendon was a terrific ST player who wasn't startin material as a LB. It isn't a reason to bag on players when they are put in positions they aren't built for. They are very thin at DB. He and Bellamy should be ST studs.

when the F* are the McCaskey's gonna cough up some coin and change the field already...

so many slips....the one down in the red zone with Alshon as well ion a third down...easy stop and turn route and he slipped and lead to another FG...

McManis fell down because he is a shitty player. That's what shitty players do. He was picked on while he was in there. Last week the Bears played on turf, what was his excuse last week? Only one other player slipped that I could count on. The FG kickers were bombing them with no problem.

I really don't know if there is a CB worth a shit on this team.

I agree. The only one true talent is Amos in the secondary. The rest is a pile of shit.

First the stadium isn't owned by the McCaskey's, so not sure they would be the ones coughing up the money.

Second, even if they are the ones coughing up the money, I doubt the McCaskey's really care whether the field is sod or field turf. They probably just support what the team says they want. Previous front offices voiced that they preferred sod.

I really don't know if there is a CB worth a shit on this team.

I'm still to this day puzzled at why they mover to a 3-4 in the first place knowing they had absolute trash at LB & CB which are the staples of the system. Without Good LB's & CB's there is no point at running a 3-4 at all. I never have bought into this trend or idea that defenses must be a 3-4(hybrid) in order to succeed.

Obviously the F.O. & Pace are looking long term instead of a quick fix with this coaching staff & the systems they run so hopefully Pace drafts a QB, & loads up on much needed LB's & CB's. I believe that giving Revis an offer he can't refuse in FA would be a very wise signing that would have the same impact on this system, that signing Julius Peppers had on Lovies 4-3. Revis is perfect for this defensive system. I'd take both of the Rams CB's in a heartbeat too.
