Pretty sure Acho and McClellin have been doing alright.

they are in the group of guys that can make plays...occasionally. Acho more so than McClellin probably. hes gotten better but "doing alright" isnt exactly reaching for the stars.

With the general dumpster fire at hand you're hand wringing over who can or can't be serviceable on defense? Pretty sure neither you nor I have that luxury right now. If they are playing alright, that is fucking great.

McPhee isn't going to game change you into the playoffs so it doesn't matter

McPhee has completely changed the attitude and outlook of this defense. I would say that matters. He has been balling out every single week and is a big reason this D is keeping us in games.

no, that is not what Im doing at all and that wasnt the topic at hand. McPhee was and I said that he is the one true stud on this D. then you felt like replying with "pretty sure Acho and Mclellin are doing alright," which was irrelevant.

He's a great player and a great signing. The Bears defense allowed 10 points. They're playing good football with some key injuries and a lot of young guys.

I think he made the defensive roster realize that either they all had eachothers back and played like a family or this shit just wouldn't work out. That report about him rallying the troops a week or two ago was exactly the sort of stuff you like to hear about your defensive leader. Or at least that is who I believe is now the leader on defense.

@Rich_Campbell: Bears OLB Pernell McPhee said he felt so disrespected by Chiefs running at him 3 straight times early 2nd half that he had to block the FG.

I love the chip he has at all times. Despite running at him a few times the Chiefs had an extra blocker on him most the game which is far from disrespect but try telling him that. Love it.

This might be the best rebuttal I've ever seen.
