Could be great or a disaster. Very interested to see what he does I personally think it will be a mixed bag of frustration.

The interesting part is that the Wilfs deferred to Spielman because they weren't football people.

The dude reminds me of Emery.

I'm just happy that the Vikings got the runner up.

"The 40-year-old Adofo-Mensah has economics degrees from Princeton and Stanford and worked as a Wall Street trader before entering the NFL in 2013 with San Francisco in research and development."

Probably doesn't know much about football but at least he's smart.

Ziggy and Mensah. They'll hold more tryouts but with those two you have yourself a strong backbone for a 70's psychedelic rock band.

Something a bit poetic about Adofo-Mensah "Musa" working for the purple and gold....

He is a real long shot IMO and I think the Vikings reached.

He was in a very small role with SF for a few years and then just recently got a higher exec job with the Browns.. who are far from a quality organization.

Unproven and inexperienced is a questionable hire.

I mean when he was a candidate for CHI, he sounded like an up and comer...

I was never a fan of anybody from the Browns organization. That franchise has botched more draft picks than anybody.

I think he's a great hire. Has a clear skillset that's valuable as a GM in asset management.

Sure it might flameout and people love to dance on your grave when it's a non-traditional hire. But I'd say there's genuine upside here.

What a dingleberry of a hire. What’s Cleveland done? I’m glad the Vikes slept on our new GM. And props for that cornball McCaskey loser actually picking up Poles from the airport. I hate flying into Chicago, it’s always so depressing. The humidity and city smells hit you like a brick in the face #stitches I’m glad I moved to the west coast a decade ago. Hell, midway can be scary af with their short runways and icy landings
