Glad to see the win. Not sure what's going on with Castro. He's cratered lately. Bunch of 0-4/5's . Rizzo's and Valbuena are about the only consistent batters they have at this point. Bonifacio was for awhile but he's fallen off.

What happened to Castro? The balls arent falling. He is having good at bats and the ball wont find the holes. His BABIP is now lower then it was last year. I would think he would have to get extremely hot soon. He is still K'in at a much lower rate and walking at a higher rate. Ive seen him have some tough luck in games. He is also driving the ball still. The odds have to start to even out. But, we are the Cubs and odds doesnt apply to anyone who touches a Cub uni.

I haven't been able to catch many games lately since I don't get CSN. Really only get to watch if they happen to be on WGN or ESPN. So, it's good to hear that he's seemingly just hitting into bad luck.

I think you can look no further than that the Cubs have little to no talent. When you have probably only two bona fide players that can come anywhere close to hitting .300, you can't expect too much.

I'd rather him have the low BABIP year this year. It's not like we're losing out on anything. So long as Castro stays in the line up.

Sure do love Rizzo's 1B defense though! He's going to be a lot of fun to watch once we get other players who can play around him!

Someone in the Cubs organization needs to tell Renteria you can't argue balls and strikes. How many times has he been thrown out now?

He's been thrown out 4 times this season. I want to say all 4 have been balls and strikes..
