I would do it in a heartbeat.
2 firsts + this years 3rd should get it done. Worst case 2 firsts + a 2nd.
Pace would also 100% do it. Except if both lance/fields are there he would take the wrong guy.

It is simple really. Use the same grading system they used last time when they picked Trubisky... Then take the #2 guy based on that system instead of the #1 guy. Winner.

My fear is that pace really likes trey lance, which, imo would be the trubisky mistake all over again.
Not that im down on the kid, he has talent, but I can't stomach taking another 1 year starter from a not real football program

I think Nagy wants Fields or Jones. Bears trading to 6 should get them the one SF doesn’t take. If SF takes Lance which of Fields or Jones would Chicago take if both there at 6?

It's incredible that Pace came out and did his spiel about collaboration and consensus, showing everyone who thought Mitch was the pick. and bit by bit we find out thats a complete lie. The HC didn't know. Some of the scouts had no clue. Ryan Pace is a one man shit-show. Gotta get him out of here .

3 of 4 1st round picks were African American, and he traded away 2 1st rounders for another African American.
Seems like Pace is racist against white players as he drafts them so rarely..
