I don't know about taking over starting PF unless we get rid of Pau or Noah which isn't going to happen but SF is a definite possibility. Niko and MDJ are very similar in size and stature but Niko's game is much more diverse. The only thing that MDJ has over him is experience and a complete understanding of Thibs' system which will keep him in the starting lineup till he is gone.

Next year I see Gasol coming off of the bench and being the main guy of it. It would be a logical progression with Mirotic getting more minutes and Gasol less. I see them also getting two first round picks(Sacramento) and gaining probably in their own draft position because of their deal with Cleveland about swapping draft picks next year. And with that pick I can see them going after their future center.
