Asik is one of the better rebounders and defensive players in the league. There is no denying it. Yes, he is terrible offensively, but that doesn't change what he does on defense/the boards.

Asik leads the Bulls in rebounds per-minute. That is an accomplishment to be the most efficient rebounder on the #1 rebounding team in the league.

I would of drafted him top 10 last year.
He is a more versatile Louis Scola/ David West (in a bigger body but isnt filled out yet) not a very good athlete but is a great basketball player has a great post game and is a very good shooter. He had top 5 talent but his contract killed his draft stock. Him and Davis Bertans wore the steals of the draft Bertans was a 1st rd talent who the Spurs got in the middle of the 2nd best pure shooter in the draft and Mirotic like I said I had as a top 5 pick but has a long contract in Europe. If he adds weight to his frame he will become a really solid player IMO.
No one should ever be compared to Dirk no one lol but he does have a similar game. I dont think he can play SF in the NBA he would get ate up defensively he will be a 4/5 mostly 4 when he comes over he should have the frame for it in the NBA.
I have seen almost all his games for Madrid and I watched him in the FIBA u19's where he just abused people with his basketball skill.
few weeks ago I saw him score 20pts in like 8 minutes for Madrid it was a basketball clinic.
Bo MCcaleb is the only other guy in Europe who I really want to see come over he reminds me of a Kemba Walker type player he would be a good addition to almost any NBA team.
here is a good read on him. I have watched nearly all his games for Read Madrid he is a fun guy to watch very clever post player.

I heard on Doug Thonus's podcast with Nick Friedell that Mirotic entered the draft only because he wanted to join the Bulls..
