I always over-analyze fantasy drafts so I tend to stay away from them. The one I did this year had Dustin Pedroia as the first pick and I picked 2nd. Bad position to be in because I could literally pick anyone to build my team around. Went with Kershaw. It's funny how the computer teams stay away from old guys like Jeter and A-Rod in those drafts.

The Operation Sports full minors roster was around 85-90% done on Tuesday. Should be finished pretty soon! Can't wait to finally start a Dynasty.

Everything is done except for a few things, but those are being worked on right now. All that's left is:
Orioles- info, ratings, faces, stances, equipment
Yankees- info, ratings, faces, stances, equipment
Tigers- faces
Pittsburgh- info, ratings, faces, stances, equipment

The initial guess on when these would be done when the game was released was April 1. Looks like they're right on schedule. Rosters could be finished Saturday or Sunday.

Click the google docs link and you'll see all that's left is Baltimore. I'd expect the OS roster to be out tomorrow. Shouldn't be any later than Tuesday I'd guess.

Okay.....

We've got the last team.
Like I said earlier....we've still got some work to do on them(the O's)....not a ton...but some.

We're looking at a POSSIBLE release on Tuesday sometime. If not....Wednesday is nearly a lock.
I promised to keep you guys updated and in the loop and that looks like our target right now.

Again...thanks for the patience....and when you guys are thanking....don't thank me...thank the guys who did most of the work....all those guys on the chart.

1 month since release.....1500 players created.....exported...imported....contracts reassigned.....tons of transactions.....
Not too shabby.

The OS roster is out! Go out and download it!

If you've never downloaded a roster before, here's what to do. If you have downloaded before, just read the bolded part:

1. From the main menu go to the second tab (there are 5 tabs in the top left corner)
2. Go to Vaults
3. Choose Roster Vault
4. Choose Browse Rosters
5. Make sure the % column is highlighted and tap Square to sort the highest %'s
6. The roster is named "O.S.F.M SPRING" by Knight165 created Apr 3
7. Click it, download it, save it as whatever you want.
8. Go back to your main menu and go to the last tab and load the roster.
9. Go have a true Franchise mode!

I know for sure the Cardinals system needs some overhaul. Looks like a lot more need some work too, but I can't really complain, they busted their butts to do this.

Created a LHP for RTTS. Currently 3-4 with a 3.38 ERA in AA

Just took a perfect game into the 9th inning.
-1st batter popped up
-2nd batter struck out
-3rd batter, hit first pitch curveball past the diving third baseman for a hit.

My reaction-

Would have been my second perfect game ever in an MLB The Show game.

I did draft this time and was picked by the Rangers. I do pick my own team from time to time.

I get picked by the Rangers a lot it seems when I start these RTTS's

I agree. Pitching is way more fun than hitting.

Every time I do the rtts I get trade like 3 times, drafted by the O's then traded to the Royals and the indians.

Yeah trades happen frequently for me too. I think they're pre-determined when you start. I kept a save file from a week before I was traded once, and kept re-loading it after I was traded. Every single time I re-loaded it, I was traded on the same day, to the same team, for the same players every time.

I tried CF once with the Braves. I just think playing defense is really boring. I couldn't imagine creating a catcher to play as.

I did a RTTS playing 1b and drafted by the Yankees...In year 3 and first full year in the Big Leagues, through August have 30 homers and 83 rbi's, but have 160 hits...It is fun playing in Yankee stadium, hit a homer into the top deck in right field..
