My favorite teams
Borchers!!!
Wow, well they went through all the kickers like you wanted haha, I wanted the GK's to face eachother so desperately but still, 10 frames close game through out ..pretty exciting.
Gratz to SKC I guess
Yes, an owner the CARES about the team, it would be nice if we had one here.Lots of parallels between SKC and the Blackhawks actually, years of struggles both on and off the playing field, then something clicks. They get their fanbase and then they get their rings.

Always interesting to think about where we would be if we still had AEG as owners... obviously would look bad on the league, but look at their other teams. Galaxy have been the class of the league the past 6-ish for the most part and Houston has been successful even without the huge name DP's. Chicago being a big market like LA, could expect DP's (though Houston is technically #4 market in US, a pretty big gap).
If it wasn't for AEG, we wouldn't of signed Blanco. We are the New England Revolution of the league, cheapass non-caring owner. So the next 5-10+ years are going to be hard to take, unless Dollar Menu sells the team. Which I don't see happening with all this expansion money coming in, he's just sitting back and collecting his millions.

But, team is valued at 102 million, it was 41 million when he bought it. Not saying he had anything to do with it, but with expansion teams and more expansion team (20-24) to come 2020. So the earliest I see him selling would be after the 2020 season (7 seasons). I just hope that the league (other owners) are starting to get pissed of at him and start having him at least TRY to look like he cares about the team.Well the team itself did lose 3.2 million this year, and expansion has to slow down at some point.

I would think that they (the league) would rather have a great team in Chicago than CD Chivas. They have been pretty much a mess since they started playing in 2005.Pretty sure that with Vergara around, they won't have any time to focus on the situation here.
