And you are wise? You are defensing a racist ignorant mothafucka SMFH! Good thing he is getting locked up in June hope the inmates teach him a lesson.

And Michael Jordan cheated on his wife and was addicted to gambling, Derrick Rose through up gang signs and cheated on his SAT, Walter Payton was addicted to pain killers and also cheated on his wife...

Your point?

Have you seen the bets he's won? Dude is SET for life... Not to mention what he makes each fight.

[/SPOILER]

You have never been a gambler then...The money train only lasts so long. When his career is done and this "hobby" goes badly he could lose 20 million in a month easy! so don't say he is well set off when you are betting 1.8 million a pop in Vegas.

I used to play competitive poker and have made thousand in a day. Even with losing a couple hundred bucks at a time at the tables it adds up.

He is gonna lose a few bets in a row. Think he has a sure thing and BAM! nothing!

Yes, I've gambled. I've bet on sports as well as played online poker as my job for about a month.

I've won and lost. It effects me and you more because we don't have the money he has.

Are you people blind? He doesn't make money JUST off gambling. The dude gets MILLIONS for every fight. He plans on fighting 5 more years, which estimates out to $65 million a year. He's set. Endorsements and all.

Sure he's going to lose bets, everyone does. He has the money to play around with.

Mike Tyson who has made hundreds of millions of dollars in his boxing career ended up broke. Just because rich people are really rich right now doesn't mean they will in 10 or 20 years they could loose it all if they don't manage their money well and Floyd isn't doing that right now.

I can't wait for the fight this Saturday I hope Cotto can pull the upset but I doubt it. From watching the 24/7 Mayweather/Cotto Floyd is kinda slacking off he is eating a lot of fast food.

If anyone is good enough to "Slack off" it's Floyd or Pacman.

So it's okay to defend them but not Mayweather?

Mayweather talks shit all the time, beat his ex and took his children's cell phones and threatened them if they snitched at him, accused Pacquiao of using steroids without any proof, made a Ustream rant that he was gonna beat his yellow midget ass and give him some rice after his beating. The list keeps growing and growing I just don't like the guy I used to like him before his fight with Hatton in 07 but I grew tired of him running his mouth, at least Rose is humble and doesn't run his mouth.

Good example.. I would have used Tyson too. He was once worth 400 million dollars I believe.. and wound up broke.

According to celebrity net worth, Floyd's net worth is 90 million. If he's smart with his money, he'll have more than enough for the rest of his life... when he retires boxing and continues gambling while continuing to buy nice cars, etc... I wouldn't be surprised if he wound up broke.

A good example of a boxer who managed their money well is Oscar De La Hoya who started Golden Boy Promotions and is the second best boxing promotion only slightly behind Top Rank. Even though Oscar didn't manage his money well early in his career, cheated on his wife and was on coke managed to fix it before it was too late good for him even though I didn't like him.

HE WONT ALWAYS BE SET IF HE LOSES! No matter how much he makes. Gamblers play to their bank accounts and he can lose it all in no time.
