1. No one said "big" thing. I said it's not a thing. Fibula is a made up word.

2. Jay was obviously severely limited by his hamstring so you saying it was bogus makes you wrong.

3. I was kidding about fibula being a made up word

naw, he was limited by his decision skills - or lack thereof - and his "10 year veteran" poor footwork (as on the INT and the many off-target throws... that's what limited Jay, and what always has.

I'm just kidding. I grab a pic quick. It's not worth spending a lot of time on every post.

I'm going to be honest. I quickly glanced and thought you were Scoot. Otherwise I would not have harassed you.

LOL! That's funny. They look close. If I had a dollar for every time someone stopped me on the street thinking I was Scoot... He owes people a lot of money.

They should have taken Grasu and dressed him in Montgomery's clothes and put him in. Triplet wouldn't have noticed

Sucks from a playing perspective as he's been probably the best of our linemen. But given we're going nowhere, hopefully Grasu gets some playing time so we can start assessing him. If we have to bring someone in then that's a really bad sign!

Yep.

Long had a very good game. His best thus far as Tackle. But our line which was already thin really hurts losing Montgomery.

Any news on how long he's out for or is it season ending? Been thinking about it and outsid injuries to Forte, Bennett, Cutler and Long, his is the one you'd want to avoid. Could cost us a win or two.

The one thing NOONE is talking about is the amount of injuries the Bears have suffered. For a team trying to change EVERYTHING, they have lost MANY players. I believe this will be the thing we look at when the Bears are tough at the end of the year and people wonder why. We are seeing great coaching in Chicago for the 1st time in some time, IMO!

A third round pick should be able to play in his first season. This is ridiculous

I wasn't aware that Fox announced Grasu will get the start. I heard him ducking the question...

Exactly my thought. I thought it perhaps telling that it HAS NOT been announced or even speculated by local media that Grasu will step in and start.

Not starting, okay.

Not starting when the line has suffered injuries, inexcusable.

Shortly after the Bears picked Grasu the Rams picked Jamon Brown who starts at OG and would very easily be better than the penalty machine that is Ducasse.

3rd round picks play.

If Grasu was the guy then he would have been the replacement for Montgomery today, not Slasuen. God help us
I disagree. Often a guard is the back up center ie garza. Tackles can often play guard and starting guards are often the back up center. It's really hard to feild 53 with back ups at all oline positions.
