What does likeing the Blackhawks have to do with what they do to their reports? All I care is for is this organization to do is put a winning product, I can care less about what they do to their reports, especially a report who sucked IMO, she tweeted what she said, so be it, your a professional, you know your being watched what you tweet. Like I said, I don't think she was anything special, and actually, Nothing against women, but I would rather get my hockey news from a male report. Not some chick who prob. didn't know the Hawks exisisted 5 years ago.</p>

Ridiculous, at most one of those funny gaffs that get some play and soon forgotten. These happens constantly on live TV. Stinks of McD, I bet he's been itching to fire someone to get his powertrip but the Hawks success has made it hard so he goes for the reporters.</p>

I don't see how this is in relation to the Josh Mora situation. Mora's contract was not renewed because the Blackhawks didn't like that he criticized the organization (rightfully so) at times. Collins made a bad error during a live segment, more of a detriment to a network than a hockey team... two very different situations.</p>

If this was linked to the Blackhawks, why would Comcast Sportsnet fire her instead of re-assigning her? Think about it... the Hawks have nothing to do with this. That's a knee-jerking reaction by an internet blogger (it happens) and I don't buy it.</p>

That said, I was actually sad to hear that she was fired... I thought she did an excellent job and I bet she finds another gig soon.</p>

Don't get me wrong, they knew about them beforehand, I think the problem is they hoped nothing would happen to bite them in the ass regarding that.  I get it, they run "family entertainment" and I think their fear is after this flub and her old youtube videos getting posted everywhere, PC ass moms and dads may not want to view a girl who can be seen on the web dropping F-Bombs left and right, impersonating stereotypical black people and acting like a class 1 hooker.</p>

I don't condone their actions, I agree with everyone it would be forgotten in a week.  But if I was a manufactured corporate suit, I would probably do the same thing.</p>

You really just have to look at it from their shackled perspective.  They run family entertainment, they have shareholders blabla bla bla.  Shit that really doesn't matter to us regular folk, this was the safest play for them.  Because just like people would have forgotten her flub (and her youtube vids) the masses will get bored of supporting Susannah the corporate victim of the month till the next shiny object to vent their corporate rage comes around, thats just the truth.</p>

I thought I heard Pat Boyle (who's with CSN) make a comment about "no one" being bigger/better than the Network...which leads me to believe it was more CSN than the Hawks?</p>

I agree with Ton in they could have just reassigned her and TSD that some of those videos - while entertaining, she did a few "whoa" things with the Charles Haley skit/reading in that voice.

I thought the shit was funny...and could care less....but I could see why a Network with everything having to be PC...could be worried about it</p>

I just found out from the my friend who walks Sharps dog, that knows the parking attendent that parks Rocky's car, said that the word she mentioned. was a clue that she had nothing going on that day, and was a hint for Rocky to come over to have a pump and grind.</p>

Like I said, I am sure they had to have known about those videos.  I just think when they hired her they didn't think it would ever come into the spotlight....then it did.</p>
