I get it. The long tasting menu thing is fun once in a while but it does not interest me as much as it did. The last time we were there it met expectations. But that was 10+ years ago. We’ve taken a couple of first timers to Napa Valley (Yountville) and always tell them, if you want to do the French Laundry thing, great, we’ll go but we it is what it is. Frankly, the corkage policy isn’t ridiculous given they are in the center of Napa freaking Valley.
