I watched The Losers the other night and I liked it and I love Jeffrey Dean Morgan. It was worth the 90 minutes to watch it imo

Finished All Saint's Day. Not as bad as I thought. Maybe it's because I set my expectations low. No where near as good as the first, and the Dennis Leary rant with Rocco in the middle of this was pure bullshit. Yes it was all forced, and didn't have the smooth flow, but it is what it is I guess.

Watched a movie called "the infidel" on demand. About a moderate British Mulsim who upon his parents death finds out he was adopted and his birth parents were jews. Its a comedy with touches of seriousness pushing the cant we all just get along message.

my favorite quote from the movie "The moment I find out im actually a jew and a man in a uniform comes to take me away!"

and another one: "Your birth name is Solly Shimshilawitz? Your name may as well be jewy jew jew jew jew."

the premise revolves around his son who is trying to marry a girl who's mother recently re-married an islamic fundamentalist cleric who will be coming to visit to ensure, his family is muslim enough to marry his step daughter, All the while he fights his dual persona, and searches for his birth parents, and befriends an American jew along the way to help him understand his jewish heritage.

I give it 4 out of 5 stars, it was pretty funny and also had a relevant point.

Above average, with moments of annoying. If you like going to watch movies in the theater then it's worth going too. But I wouldn't go out of the way as a must see movie.

Actually, I believe I originally started it in NHTA and it was moved to the other thread, so I believe I will sue you.

I enjoyed it... I think Gwyneth and Robert Downey, Jr. have great on-screen chemistry and Sam Rockwell plays a scumbag so well and I even think Mickey Rourke did a pretty decent job.

My only real criticism is more of an observation: while I have absolutely no problem with Scarlett Johansson(sp?) in tight, black leather... her role wasn't really necessary to the story (especially seeing as how the original character of "Black Widow" is a Russian spy working for an American organization and could have been easily tied to a sub-plot with the main villain).

If you liked the first one, I don't think this will disappoint. And as Mass and I discussed on the "old" boards - probably not worth sitting around and waiting for the last scene when you can Youtube it.

In looking around for some info on Thor I saw that Marvel signed the same studio in 08 to do the next 4 movies "Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers" and ScoJo plays black widow (rumored) in The Avengers due out in a couple of years, I assume it was a way of introducing her. IMDB isn't showing her in Captain America yet, but could be there as well, and maybe Thor because of the other Shadow Agent connection? That's the only reason I see it is because they are trying to build continuity between the films now as RDJ is set to be Iron man in the Avengers (and Iron Man III) as well. Actually, everyone is rumored to be in that movie.

My issue is that she was supposed to be Russian and so was the main villian... an easier link could have been made. Regardless, no complaints about watching her kick-ass in tight, black leather.

Watched more Torchwood last night (while I wait for the Dr Who Season 4 Christmas special disc to come in - couldn't stream it, disc only) and while I don't hate it, it just doesn't have the same awesomeness as Who. Harkness seems like a 3rd rate Doctor.

Yeah I feel you on the torchwood. But just wait until you finish them all and see how you feel about it as a whole before you pass judgement on it. I thought it was good, and then the last mini series made me like it more.

Watched "1408" last night on DVD. Worth watching on cable or netflix but nothing to get too excited about.

Didn't do anything for me. It's another perfect example why horror classics shouldn't be remade. So add it to the long list of Texas Chainsaw massacre, Halloween etc.

Saw Hot tub time machine the other day and was pretty disappointed with it, other than one or two laughs it's avoidable.

Which one? The musical or the Tim Burton produced feature? Either way, what did you think?
