I always describe it as a terrible movie, but as a collection of scenes?! Awesome.

I thought folks had a real problem with the ending or something... or it didn't adhere to the story liked they wanted? It was something other than Cruise being cast. I think it was a case of if you didn't know what you were going to watch it was good... or maybe it was the other way around.

I didnt and wont see this, but this story has been told so many times and is so culturally significant, I am not surprised with differences. Like Three Musketeers or comics or the like.

Sharknado is an AMAZING flick! It is also personally vindicating because as a wee lad, I KNEW that Jaws was gonna come out of the faucet when i was in the bathtub. And now, after 36 years, I am vindicated. All that laughing..."He cant FIT through there!" Yeah, well I bet you didnt think he could tornado either.

Wrong movie where a white guy plays a samurai. It's Keanu Reeves in this one.

Shit... ****, **** ***** mother ******... I knew that. I think I even posted something about him doing the whole movie in japanese too because the director felt the cultural effect of the language would show different emotion.

I watched "Under the skin" with Scarlett Johansson.

Pros

1. You do eventually see full frontal Scarlet Johansson.

Cons

1. There are too many Boners in this movie. Not just dudes junk, but full on raging erections.

2. After the movie was over, i had to read a synopsis of the book to find out why her alien ass was even on earth. The movie never reveals this.

3. 80% of the movie is her driving around in a van with ZERO dialog. 10% his her leading unsuspecting men and their boners into black muck. and 10% is her trying to try being human and eating cake.

4. I cannot begin to explain the boredom that this movie will bring you, so much so, I wouldn't reccomend this even for Scar Jo's naked body.

Unless you're some pretentious dick who will watch some boring ass plotless pile of crap, and give it a 5 out of 5 just so it looks like you get the art that the director/writer was going for and us plebians are just too stupid. Steer clear of this one. Furthermore yes, it is plotless because it is never revealed why the hell she leads dudes and their boners into black muck like the pied piper of prick, which consists of the vast majority of the film.

Let the Right One In

It's been in my Netflix Queue for probably a year and I finally watched. Good movie that came close to being great. It's a Swedish subtitled vampire movie and kind of a adolescent love, coming of age story but not in the traditional way. Kicks the shit out of most vampire movies that have come out in recent years. It does enough different to keep it from being the same old vampire tale, but still has some of the classic vampire elements (some I could do away with). It does attempt to be scary and gruesome, but I never felt the suspense or terror from it. I would recommend it. Gave 3 stars on Netflix, but it's probably closer to 3.5 so let's say a 7 out of 10.

Also watched "The Great Match"

Seemed like the right time to watch it. It was decent; although you could tell that even with subtitles the acting was pretty terrible. With that said the cinematography was pretty top notch. There were some beautiful imagery throughout the movie. It follows 3, remote tribal groups in different parts of the world in their attempt to watch the 2002 World Cup final. Nomads in Mongolia, Tauregs in the Sahara, and a native tribal group in the Amazon. I think it's marked as a comedy. There is some light humor in it. I found it overall entertaining. I doubt I would've enjoyed it as much if the World Cup was not going on right now.

6 out 10.

I've been re-watching some 70s classic movies. Watched "The Getaway" last night and Jeremiah Johnson Friday night via Amazon Prime instant video.
