Why are we taking 2ilb's when we signed 2 in fa? No qb drafted?

In 3 years I think Brothers will end up being the best ILB in this draft. Also I felt he was the BPA in the 4th round. I picked Cardale Jones-QB from THE Ohio State Univ. Roberts was also a very productive, underrated ILB. 7th round special teamer.

Like the draft but it wont happen. I dont see Henry dropping to the 3rd or Nkemdiche going in the 2nd.

It's good, but unrealistic. Don't like Henry's fit in this offense. Don't like 2 character issues taken 1-2, though Aaron Leming says don't be surprised if the Bears don't shy away from guys with an off-field history, I don't think they'd put that much stock into the off-field issues of both their top picks. Also don't like waiting that long for a CB.

Love Spence. Like others have said, don't think they will take two ?s off the field in the first 2 rounds. Not a fan of Henry, and Brothers probably goes before round 4 but I like him. Jones, Canady, and Adams are very solid picks.

You first 2 guys have major character red flags.

Are we the 1970s Raiders?

I would just like to take this moment to say whoever picks Deon Bush will be getting an absolute steal. I think he's a second round talent with 5th or 6th round production largely due to the scheme he played him. Miami's former DC is the college equivalent of Mel Tucker. That defense was pretty much designed for its players not to make plays and Bush always flashed for Miami.

Miami players for the past several years have massively under performed while in college, again due to pathetic coaching, but have shined once they get to the NFL. I think if we drafted Bush we'd have a starting safety for years to come. He's really undervalued.

I love the first pick, but like others have said, two character issue guys with the first two picks, I don't think they'd go there. I love the Bush pick, but I also don't see us taking to ILB's when we just signed two in free agency, and have CJones backing them up. I think we'll grab a tackle somewhere in the middle rounds. I know some like Cardale Jones, but I don't, if we take a QB, I believe Pace may go another route there. I also don't know if Henry would be a good fit in the offense, if we take a RB, I think it'll be someone else, not sure offhand right now who I'd guess it would be.

1) Spence - at 11 sucks
2) Nkemdiche - not in this world
3) Henry - will be long gone
4) Brothers - see #3
5) Jones - see #3 and #4
6) 7) 8) 9) MEH

Zeke in the 1st or maybe Alex Collins in the third, not sure any other RBs would be a good fit or a good value. IMO

I really like Elliott, but I don't think he'll be there when we pick. That said, if he is, I think we have to take him, that kid is gonna be a beast. He is a game changing type back. Don't get me wrong, I really like Carey and Langford and I think their styles will compliment each other very well. But Elliott is better than both. He can pretty much do what each of them do best, and do it better. He's a game changer at RB, he will be a big time play maker.

Too early for 1. Most of the rest are the opposite and picking guys round(s) after they'll be gone makes for a very unrealistic draft.

They have got to assemble a good offensive line . Right now they have got below average players at LT, RT, and C. Center, I am not worried about but the two tackle spots absolutely need quality upgrade. I am sick of watching them having to keep a tight end in to help Leno against DEs and LBs and having to have the RB also trying to protect Cutler's blind side. A LT in this draft with their 1st pick is a MUST HAVE.

You're not wrong. I wonder how many starting LT there are in the draft? This is a perfect example of BPA being heavily weighted by depth at position. IF there are only a handful of LT that grade out as elite, or very good, then you should really take one at #11. QB is not deep either, but at least we have a decent starting QB. DE is supposed to be a deep position this year.

Take ESPN's rankings, just as one example. They have THREE OTs rated as 90 or higher, indicating a first round pick—Tunsil, Stanley, Conklin and Decker. If one fall to #11, we have to take a long look. If we think we can crab Conklin or Decker at #20, maybe we do that trade with NYJ for Mo, and a swap. Or trade down. Tough call.

OT, CB, DE, and S are positions of serious need.

Why are we taking 2ilb's when we signed 2 in fa? No qb drafted?

Teams don't draft every player with the intentions of them starting, especially later round picks. Both of those ilb's are rounds 4 and 7. Top quarterbacks might not be available in round 2. Things like that.
