Villanueva the starter was

He pitched 1 and 2/3 innings and allowed 5 runs.

Barraclough did a decent job in long relief.

The two kids I was impressed with were Nick Martini who hit a game tying 2 run single in the bottom of the ninth inning with 2 outs.

And David Medina hit a bases clearing double in the 6th inning, bumped his hitting streak to 10 games.

Roberto Reyes the LF tonight also gunned down two runners at home.

The problem with the Bandits early and late was that they were trying to hit 5 run homers all the time. Early swings and outs really allowed Ft. Wayne to jump ahead early. That's why Ruben Mejia, the starter lasted into the 6th.

Appreciate the report. I followed the box score until the 7th and they were losing 6-4. Good to hear they made a comeback with Piscotty and Walsh out of the lineup. Sucks they didn't play, and it sucks Garcia stunk at the plate. And something must be up with Villanueva, that's two terrible starts in a row for him after he had 3 great ones in a row.

I had a good time anyways. Nice to have some family fun at the game, vs. the drunks at Wrigley

Not a bad seat at the stadium. My friend and I walked around the stadium twice during the game. Nice to see the river outside and the bridge over.

I was a little disappointed in the food prices, but everyone's gotta make a buck too. $10 for tickets behind home plate :fap:
