These young people work SO hard to get here, and to hear that joy is amazing.
and, I do get teary eyed when I hear these stories about them buying houses for their moms...

So awesome. It really is the best part of the draft, seeing dreams come true.
Yeah, it is pretty cool in many cases. Kwity Paye drafted in Rd 1 by Atlanta has already tweeted that his mother will never have to work again. And there are many instances of seeing when they buy their parents a house.

I thought the most kick-ass draft story ever happened this year when Najee Harris threw a draft party at the homeless shelter he spent 3 years in.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this guy will be CB2 sometime this season. If we go back to the Fangio system of Zone coverage, Graham is going to be a beast as a ballhawk. If he starts 16 games, he'll have a minimum of 4 INTs and 10 PD. He would've been drafted much higher if he didn't opt out.

I think he would have been a 2nd round pick if he didn’t opt out.

Ran into this one this morning...

He has been friends with / competing against Jaylon Johnson since high school. That's pretty cool.

You can't help but get a little teary eyed when you hear how excited this young man and his family are to get drafted, even if it was later than he hoped.

I sure hope we look back on this draft and say it was the best Bears Draft in the last 30 years.
