Can do interviews with HC candidates in week 15. The earlier the better
The only caveat is if they plan to fire Pace as well. If so, they could wait until the end of the season so whoever they hire as GM is involved in hiring the coach

The McCaskeys and Sweaty Teddy just need to look in the mirror and find the Whys.

This worries me.

It was very clear that he was calling plays based on how the actual offense looked. Brad Biggs reported it and he's usually not wrong.

If he's allowed to do whatever the fuck he wants to still I am not sure I want justin fields out there anymore. Nagy is going to ruin another QB if he gets 5 more games to playcall for fields.

seeing the offense going heavy running confirms to me that Lazor was calling plays, and you jacking off to St Bill won't change that

With this coaching staff it absolutely does not make any difference who is calling plays on game time. Please point to 'absolutely must keep' coach. Honestly, I don't see it. Of course I was wrong before... ;)

Who cares who calls plays. It’s still Nagys shit offense and play design. Sean Mcvay couldn’t make this shit work calling plays

LOL. I guess it's not secret who's calling plays when they fail.

This team looks completely different when he isn't there as seen v the 49ers. They've already wasted 3/4 of a year, he should have been fired at the end of 2020, after cleveland, after tampa, etc.

Edit: point is, if he is on the sidelines he IS going to get in the headset at points.

I mean...do you have to fire Matt Nagy to start interviewing his replacement?

Sure that's the way it probably should be done as a professional courtesy, but is there actual NFL policy stopping them from interviewing candidates while still employing another head coach?

Matt Nagy acknowledged that Bill Lazor called the plays today.

Also emphasized: "Ultimately it goes through me."

Nagy finished his presser by saying he won't answer another question about who's calling plays this year.
— Dan Wiederer (@danwiederer) October 3, 2021

Nagy told reporters after the game that offensive coordinator Bill Lazor remains the play caller and that there were communication issues with the headset between Dalton and Lazor.

Nagy went to the Black Rainbow school of "going dark."
