I really think he'll end up playing for the Nets, either by trade or free agency. Brook Lopez is a big injury risk and not a reliable big man going forward. With Deron Williams, MarShon Brooks, Anthony Morrow and Kris Humphries already in place, Howard would make that team a pretty formidable Eastern Conference opponent going forward.

The only problem would be they already gave up so many assets to get Williams, the team would be a carbon copy of Miami -- zero front court depth, no true impact players around the stars. If Howard doesn't get traded, I still think he and Williams end up in Dallas next season and team up with Dirk.

Something like this could be appealing for Orlando. Good young assets to build around with Lopez, Brooks and Humphries, plus New Jersey could also throw in a pick. The only problem, as I said, is that this trade completely depletes the team of impact players outside of Williams and Howard.

It's crazy. Even when he returned, Humphries was still getting 10+ rebounds per game. Kris Humphries has to be one of the most underrated big men in the league.
