Congrats Reggie. Very much deserved.

The Reggie Miller-Knicks ESPN 30 for 30 is still in my Top 3 for that series.

Reggie Miller got in way too early imo.

Seriously. Look at his career numbers. 18/3/3. Do those look like Hall Of Fame Numbers to you? Doesn't look like it to me.

How many rings does he have? 0. Doesn't matter much when you're talking about the Hall of Fame because there's a lot of great players in the HOF without one. But when your career numbers are 18/3/3 and you're getting in the HOF 7 years after you retire, you better have some rings imo.

He wasn't a very good defender.

In his 20 year career, he was an all-star only 5 times. Never made the All-NBA first or second team. Only made the 3rd team 3 times. Was never on an all-defensive team and never won any other kind of award.

Got in too soon for me

For me getting in too soon is getting in EVER. He was a borderline #1 option on a "Great Team." Was he exciting and a great trash talker yes. But that team was completely tailored around his strengths and have him the opportunity to put up #s. and As you pointed out his #s aren't really hall of fame worthy, especially for a guy in only his 7th or so year of retirement.

With no rings and really no major accolades to speak of outside of a few all-star game appearances.
