It isn't Dave Manson is it? I think he had over 300 one season.

Edited -ok checked -- you know I forgot about that guy ... surprised he was on the ice often enough to get that many :D.

Yeah I did as well - I seen the guy play too ... probably that same season that it happened.

Since I missed if anyone answered the PIM question ---- it was Mike Peluso in (going on memory ) 1991-92 season with 400 something (407 or 408 ---something like that).

This former Blackhawks player was involved in the trade to send Patrick Roy to Colorado and was later traded to the Hawks for Jeff Hackett, Eric Weinrich, Alain Nasreddine, and a 4th round pick

3000 PIM in his career: Keith Magnuson? Just a guess. (Edit -wrong again -- off by more than 1500 PIM).

I looked it up and got hung up on thinking it was a guy that got all 3000 with the Hawks - there aren't too many guys with 3000 in their career - and as best as I can tell ( SF 18 can correct me) - but it looks like this is counting more teams than the Hawks.

Considering I am looking at a site where there have only been 9 guys in NHL history ever get over 3000 PIM - and Probert is the only guy on the list (top 9 that is) ever to play with the Hawks....
