Because EA owns FIBA rights (but they may of expired due to them not making a game. Normaly they have outs if the company doesnt make a game for a certain amount of years. still i haven't seen this confirmed.

Also the my player is gonna get even better then 2k11 which had a great my player mode.

I only play 2K11 for the My Player mode.

I hope they have playoff milestones this time around.
