No, he is a superstar and one of the best to ever play but he isnt Jordan or Bird or Magic. Not even close when it comes to winning.

I never he said he was. But he is jordanesque. And he is still the best player in the league.

Curry did "man up." Actually, he looked like the only one on the Warriors that actually wanted it. Klay ended up picking up a little bit but still didn't play that good. Draymond flat out sucked. Barnes and Livkngston went a combined 1-14.

Bogut was missed. Draymond just couldn't handle Tristian Thompson.

That same supporting cast is who won the first two games when Curry played like shit. The narrative seems a bit skewed here. When Lebron's team sucks, it's all on Lebron. When GS sucks, it's the supporting cast and not Curry? Curry is the star, he need to man up just like everyone was saying Lebron needed to which Lebron did the past 2 games. We'll see who shows up game 7.

Curry was the only thing/person keeping GS in the game last night. He had 30 points. It's possible he could have had 50 and still had the Wariors lost. What the hell are you talking about?

I'm indifferent toward LeBron and don't find him compelling, but its remarkable to me that the Cavs could come back from 3-1 while being the lower-seeded team, having two of their three "must win" games on the road. I wonder if that's ever happened before in the NBA, much less against a team with as many wins as Golden State. I remember when Larry Bird's Celtics came back from 3-1 against the "unbeatable" Sixers in 1981, but I think the Celtics were the ones who actually had homecourt.

On a side note, the 1983 Sixers won 65 games and went 12-1 in the postseason on their way to claiming the title...arguably the greatest team in NBA history. The next season they faced the lowly New Jersey Nets in a 5-game 1st round playoff series...the Sixers lost the first two at home, won the next two on the road, then lost the deciding Game 5 at home. The road team won every game in the series. I find that to be fascinating.

I'd argue the Celtics and sixers were pretty evenly matched in 1981. BTW take a look at games 4-7 in that series you can't get much closer. 81 ecf is possibly the greatest playoff series ever.

Also you want a good road win series.... 93 finals would work. Road team won every game except game 4.

So some history for you guys:

1. No team has won a game 7 on the road since the 1978 Washington Bullets.

2. No team has forced a game 7 after a 3-1 deficit since the 1966 Lakers (they lost game 7 to Boston )

3. No team has ever won game 7 in the finals when forcing a game 7.

History favors the Warriors. Cavs seemingly have momentum though.

Klay Thompson needs to attack more. It's great when he's hitting threes but when the Warriors struggle at times he seems much to o content to stand and try to chuck them back into it. If he can be more effective off the drive it would helpful.

Really shocked the way this series has swung.

Same here, but it would seem all of the Warriors missed threes are turning into transition points for the Cavs as they have picked up their pace.

That or Bogut is the Finals MVP.

No, he is going to throw down 40 and step over Bron Bron and watch Bron Bron beg the officials to throw him out.

Frankly, I think he had every right to be upset at that call. Especially considering the foul before that he was robbed of a clean steal on Kyrie.

Curry was the only GS player that came to play. lol

And when LeBron does the same for the Cavs, he still gets blamed when they lose does he not?

The Warriors didn't look like a team that's one win away from an NBA championship. Game was thrown, no question. All about the bottomline.

I love your basketball thoughts...they are given only on rare occasions, but they are a source of extended bemusement. Its like you have never seen a basketball game before, have no idea what is being talked about, yet you feel empowered to give critical opinions in regards to both the games and the discussions. Your criticism of Curry and defense of Harrison Barnes reminds me of your claim that the NCAA final was fixed, with this great 'capstone' 'argument'...

I never mentioned Barnes.

The supporting cast carried GS for a couple games this series and have more than done their part. Curry has had a lackluster series thus far so trying to act like the team let him down is odd. This series would have been over already if Curry had played up to MVP standards.

And my main point is when LeBron has a good game but his team loses people still bash him so yes the bias here is obvious.

Im sorry is Curry 1 for 1 in championships? What is Lebrons record? You are trying to fit a round peg in a square hole.

He shot 8 for 20. He shot 8 for 21 in game 5. He hasnt really had a great game this whole series hence why people were questioning who would be MVP.

If LeBron had Curry's numbers heading into game 7, he would be crucified. The Warriors were up because of the supporting cast not because of Curry.

By MVP standards this has been a subpar series for him and he hasn't delivered as he should.

GS is one for one. Acting like Curry won the championship last year by himself is laughable when Andre was MVP.

I am a GS fan as can be seen by all my earlier discussions about Curry but he's been subpar this series. Shaun Livingston or Andre were in line for MVP when GS was up not Curry.
