My favorite teams
Foul.
The Heat are the better. So the foul is irrelevant.
Foul.
I agree. Danny Green did initiate the contact.Foul.
I play it level on the Bulls forum.
Well, when you compare what I post to some of the other things that are posted in that forum, I don't think they are all that strange. If posting strange and unrelated philosophies in the midst of a Bears discussion in said section is your definition of level...
lol
Not particularly. The better team is not invincible. I'm not trying to take away from what the Heat did...they made the plays they needed to to win, I'm just saying that if the Spurs had done perhaps one of the things you somewhat sarcastically brought up:Does it not make a difference that the team they lost to is the better team?
Leonard and Manu both miss free throws, which would have made it a 3 possession ball game - but the game is rigged.
Pop not putting Duncan out there for rebounding on the last two Miami possessions - but the game is rigged.
Not fouling while up 3 (though I think that is a stupid thing to do, I'll give people the argument) - but the game is rigged.
I sarcastically said that because apparently the refs handed the game to Miami - according to a majority participating in this thread. Not particularly. The better team is not invincible. then the Spurs are probably the champs right now. You can call it the better team winning I guess, but in my opinion they won because the Spurs failed to do one of several things that probably would've won them the game.[/COLOR]
I don't believe in fouling either...unless you happen to foul some player that's a horrible free throw shooter. That's never going to be the case against Miami though.I sarcastically said that because apparently the refs handed the game to Miami - according to a majority participating in this thread.
You and I agree that the Spurs should have won the game because of those things I mentioned.** I just don't call it choking, and that is where you and I disagree.
** I don't believe in fouling in that situation. Can't remember which one it was, but it was off a made free throw and I believe Miami was out of timeouts. A lot of confusion in those last couple of seconds and you got the missed shot you needed. You just didn't have the rebounder in there. If anything, you foul Miami, and then they have the chance to set a play and that leads to trouble. Maybe they were supposed to foul to get Duncan back in there, but I think that is too dangerous of decision to make.
If Manu didn't suck, perhaps that would've worked better. But yeah, if Manu isn't playing well I think Pop should go in a different direction. Problem is, they don't really have a playmaker outside of those two on the perimeter. Unless you're willing to trust Gary Neal or Cory Joseph...He may be the x-factor but the y-factor is how much Pop plays him. I think he relied on him too much last night. I don't like the idea of him playing the point when Parker is not in there.

they're not friggin europeans, you know
If there is a God the Spurs will win tomorrow night.
So you're basically saying the Heat are going to win no matter what. That's like saying if there are unicorns, the Spurs will win.
