I play it level on the Bulls forum.

If posting strange and unrelated philosophies in the midst of a Bears discussion in said section is your definition of level...

lol

Well, when you compare what I post to some of the other things that are posted in that forum, I don't think they are all that strange.

Does it not make a difference that the team they lost to is the better team?
Not particularly. The better team is not invincible. I'm not trying to take away from what the Heat did...they made the plays they needed to to win, I'm just saying that if the Spurs had done perhaps one of the things you somewhat sarcastically brought up:

Leonard and Manu both miss free throws, which would have made it a 3 possession ball game - but the game is rigged.

Pop not putting Duncan out there for rebounding on the last two Miami possessions - but the game is rigged.

Not fouling while up 3 (though I think that is a stupid thing to do, I'll give people the argument) - but the game is rigged.

then the Spurs are probably the champs right now. You can call it the better team winning I guess, but in my opinion they won because the Spurs failed to do one of several things that probably would've won them the game.

I sarcastically said that because apparently the refs handed the game to Miami - according to a majority participating in this thread.

You and I agree that the Spurs should have won the game because of those things I mentioned.** I just don't call it choking, and that is where you and I disagree.

** I don't believe in fouling in that situation. Can't remember which one it was, but it was off a made free throw and I believe Miami was out of timeouts. A lot of confusion in those last couple of seconds and you got the missed shot you needed. You just didn't have the rebounder in there. If anything, you foul Miami, and then they have the chance to set a play and that leads to trouble. Maybe they were supposed to foul to get Duncan back in there, but I think that is too dangerous of decision to make.

I don't believe in fouling either...unless you happen to foul some player that's a horrible free throw shooter. That's never going to be the case against Miami though.

I'm not going to argue over whether not having Duncan in there and missing free throws was choking or the Heat being the better team...doesn't particularly change the situation.

If the Spurs are going to win game 7...and I still think they can, it will have a lot to do with how Manu plays. He cannot play as horribly as he did in game 6 if the Spurs are to have a chance...and I say that even though they almost pulled it out anyway in game 6. To me, he's the x-factor.

He may be the x-factor but the y-factor is how much Pop plays him. I think he relied on him too much last night. I don't like the idea of him playing the point when Parker is not in there.

If Manu didn't suck, perhaps that would've worked better. But yeah, if Manu isn't playing well I think Pop should go in a different direction. Problem is, they don't really have a playmaker outside of those two on the perimeter. Unless you're willing to trust Gary Neal or Cory Joseph...

I wouldn't put my faith on the role players to make the big difference in game 7 on the road. I mean, they could, but I dont see it really happening. I do think Manu should come off the bench and they should look for plays that gets Manu open off cuts and setting good on-ball/off-ball screens to give Manu an open lane to drive when he comes in. Spreading the floor with some shooting(i.e. Neal and Green making a few shots) will help Manu as well. Gotta credit Miami's defense for forcing some of those TOs though. They didn't allow Manu a lot of room to operate.

I don't think the series is rigged at all  both plays at the end were clearly fouls especially bosh raping Green. Honestly I highly doubt they would have made all 5 free throws anyway they didn't get the calls and that was that. Everyone knows the draft is rigged and it's pretty much common knowledge now that the Kings Lakers series was fixed for the Lakers. Some of it has been rigged but this isn't the WWE.
