Yeah, he's definitely an elite player. I define elite as a player where you can legitimately make an argument for being the best player in the NBA. He doesn't play defense like LeBron but Derrick's also the best closer in the NBA. He was last year too. Dont tell me about the East Finals either because that was all about Miami having 2 elite players who can guard the perimeter against Chicago's one. If you remove either Wade or James from Miami, the dynamic is changed drastically.

So that not withstanding, Rose is the best closer in the NBA.

We definitely made out on getting that draft pick.
