It's not a huge honor, but damn, couldn't the Bulls scrounge up someone other than Taj? It's not a shot blocking competition, its a "shooting stars" competition.

Lol..when i saw Taj...i thought oh shit here we go. But i was blown away how terrible he was at the half court shot! Man the girl was closer than he was

I'm tellin' you all...Taj is the most overrated player on our team. Not b/c he can't get within 5 ft of the rim on a half-court shot, but b/c his defense is overrated (good shot blocker, but rarely in position on a screen) his shot is far from good (slightly below average at best) and he greatly benefits from having Rose and Deng on the team...they force the other team to leave Taj open for a 12-ft jumper all the time, and the dude is still <45% from the field.

He played significantly better as a starter. When rose and deng were getting all the defensive pressure, taj was left wide open. While on the bench he's been the focus of the defense. He got used to missing. Now, I think he's lost his confidence in his shot.

The injury might also have something to do with it.

haha i hate this competition cuz it's basically just a halfcourt shooting competition. it doesn't matter how well you do before if you can't hit that.

i hate this competition, because it's boring. The only thing on it that doesn't suck is 3pt shooting contest. Does anyone remember when the 3pt shooting contest was boring? The all star weekend is in a depressing state.
