I think 5 is a little high for the Bulls, but I'll take it.

I can't believe he has the Kings so low though, I think they are going to be a decent team this year. Probably not going to make the playoffs, but certainly not going to be as bad as the Cavs/Raptors/TWolves/Pistons etc.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
I'm not sold on the Kings doing much of anything, but they wont be 29 IMO.
The Clippers and Cavs deserve a little more respect.

I'm going to wait until the Melo deal to do my own ranks. A potential 4 team trade will shuffle this sucker up.

I think they have the Celtics too high. I understand them getting respect for making it to the NBA finals but theyre getting really old. I also get it that they still have Rondo, but this might be the first year that Rose played with better players than Rondo is. Its hard to say at this point though. We dont know who still has gas left in the tank.

But putting the Celtics this high is like taking Tomlinson with the first pick of the fantasy draft a couple of years ago when he finally hit the wall.

BTW, I was a little alarmed by the commentary about the Milwaukee Bucks. Mainly I was a little disgusted with the comment about them getting more attention because theyre not in the east.

A lots up in the air now with all the roster turnover from the offseason. Some teams may not have transitions that are THAT easy and that would, theoretically, open the door for other teams.

I agree, especially since I figure the Celtics will probably coast through the regular season again. They just want a top 4 seed and rested bodies. Perkins will be out for some time, and like you said, who knows about the Big 3's collective health/level of play.

If they make the playoffs healthy though, there is no reason they couldn't win the East. Of course that is a long way off.

Let's see how Bogut returns and how Salmons plays before they are rated so high IMO. They have major bust potential if Salmons regresses like he did for the Bulls last season.

The main thing I was surprised was that the Bulls were ahead of the Thunder. Other than that I agree with most. I would have the Cavs and Kings higher though.

OK is overrated. Durant and Westbrook are good but the rest are crap and they have absolutely no front court.

I find this ranking for all the teams to be reasonable. It's nice to see the Bulls at #5. Just another bit of fuel for the fire & how amped I am for this coming season in general!

That's not true. Serge Ibaka, Nick Collison, Nenad Krstic, Jeff Green, and now 11th pick Cole Aldrich provide them with tons of depth at the 4 and 5.

I don't like how high they are put on that list. ESPN always ranks them too high, and every year they seem to "never live up to the hype."

Your very much right about that. I guess it's just good to see them back in the main spotlight of teams. Whether 5-10 ranked.

OT: I saw you mentioned Jeff Green & for whatever reason Gerald Green's name developed in my head. Haha where is he playing? If no where, that is a guy I'd love to have on the Bulls bench. I currently have him as 6th man on my 2K10 Association for the Bulls. Got him the 6th Man Award on it. Haha

Last time I heard, I believe he was playing in China. But now I don't think he's playing anywhere. Sad for him, but I'm not too surprised haha.

Wow, that's too bad lol. I do honestly think GG is a good player. I guess I'm a fan of him. He came outta high school playin like a beast. I would still welcome him on the Bulls if I were making the decisions. Just me though..

cole aldrich appears to be 60% chance to be a bust. green is just so mediocre at everything . i dont think he's a pf. if either collison and kristic played for the bulls they would be playing minutes as the 4/5 guys off the bench.

having a starting center who'se bound apt to be a bust, a glorified 6th man sf as a starting pf, and 2 4/5 bigmen hardly seem as if it's depth.
