I had no problem with Kirk going 1-on-1 5 times there in the 3rd. He was hot for about 3 minutes. I do have a problem with our announcer criticizing Gordon when he does it, and not saying a freaking word when it's his pride and joy.

Here's my take... Every team needs a 3 guard rotation and Kirk can play either 1 or 2 so that makes him pretty valuable. Derek Rose will be the man some day but as of right now we need Kirk for the playoffs while Derek continues to develop.. With BG almost certainly gone next year, I am ok if we get a real front court player with size and some real offensive skills.

And Fred needs to turn the volume and just enjoy the games. Stacy and Funk are complete idiots but you have to enjoy the Bulls run late in the season.

Fred, I think by now it's safe to say that I believe Neal Funk keeps a Hinrich shrine in his closet at home. He prays to it every night. Hoping one day he will transform, much like Pinocchio, into a quasi-good looking athlete, adored by fans, showered with praise, and earning a FAT paycheck.

I'd love Kirk as a third guard but he makes about twice as much as a third guard should make. That really kills when you have an owner unwilling to pay the LT.

"Kirk Hinrich is having an outstanding year," said the scout. "They have a great guard rotation with Rose, Gordon and Hinrich. They have so many guys now who can score."

As for this quote, first off, I think this was taken completely out of context. I am pretty sure there was more to that, but as we all know, as objective as reporters say they are, their work is still subjective, because you have to sell papers and get site hits.

I will say this for Kirk though. I believe he is having a much better year than last year, as is everyone, and has been outstanding in filling out his new role. He has gone from being the starting PG his whole career to now coming off the bench, and much like BG has been professional when he was in the same role, the same can be said of Kirk now. And when given those extra minutes, he has produced. And produced better than in the previous 2-3 seasons. In the 8 games this season that Hinrich has played 30+ mins, we are 6-2, and he is averaging 18ppg, 5apg, & 2.5 stpg. That's pretty damn good for Kirk.

Unfortunately, he will probably be traded away this summer while the real theif, who will not play another game this season, and who does not fit in this offense, will be back to bring his lead footed drives to the hole, and standstill jumpers from 1 step inside the 3pt line.

Outstanding is a big word. But Kirk is definitely having a fine season. His trade value is back up to it's former value, which means a lot for us going forward. I won't complain at all about someone calling Kirk outstanding. The more people believe it, the easier he can be moved.

You have a problem with Neil Funk? No way.

Last night was a trainwreck for Funk. My goodness. I really hope he doesn't return to the air next season. Just awful.

They better have Wayne Larivee replacing him for next season. I don't think anyone wants to see another season of Funk.

I think Hef is just being a gentleman in letting her say she broke it off. I'm sure there is much more to it. She had it made because he didn't even make her sign a pre-nup. Maybe he will get back with Holly now. Bridget and Kendra and Holly are already planning a party form him to cheer him up.

I heard on the MJ/Ryan Seacrest morning show that she is dating Doctor Phil's son on the side and that is why she moved out and called it off.

Of course there is also the speculation that he dropped a prenup on her and she realized she wasn't going to cash in upon the old guy's death.
