I think someone tried to replace your thread scoot... http://www.

chicityspor...evin-durant-kobe-miami-thrice-going-hate.html

LoL, scoots is the origional on this topic....just thought id bump it back to the top so the topic can continue in the right venue....just doing my duty as a memeber of this fine community......
Sorry Rami :lol::smug2:

I suppose that is what happens when you are in here keeping the forum alive in the dead wasteland of an NBA lock-out.

It took like a month just to fill one page of new threads. It took about 3 days to fill it over the last day so I forgot to scroll back and check.

"Rip-through" moves, in which an offensive player swings the ball into a defender's outstretched arm and then attempts a shot once he has created contact, will be considered non-shooting fouls if the contact begins before the offensive player starts his shooting motion.

Also, on drives to the basket, a shooting foul will be called only if contact occurs after the offensive player has begun his shooting motion, not after he has initiated his leap toward the basket.

Drose is the King of this stuff I think this hurts him and Lebron the most.

:isee:

Actually Rose gets hacked a lot on drives to the rim where he gets hit after he jumps. That's a legit foul and he should get that call every single time.

yeah.. Drose is not the king of that.

in his first 2 seasons, one thing people kept saying Rose needs to work on is drawing fouls.

Rose drives to the basket a lot and only shoots 4.8 free throws a game in his career. that isn't much

I like the rule change that makes the 8-second backcourt violation 9 seconds long.

It doesn´t. The 24 second clock only goes to 23.9 not 24. Therefore the refs call a 8 second violation when they see a 15 on the clock (15.9) instead of a 16.

15.9
1)16.9
2)17.9
3)18.9
4)19.9
5)20.9
6)21.9
7)22.9
8)23.9

I dont look at Drose previous to last year Drose is never gonna go back to his first 2 years of production until he is past his prime. Drose worked his ass off and improved his game and now Drose is a beast at drawing fouls last year. That really is a talent and the greats all had it Jordan could draw a foul anytime he wanted to.(and that was with no hand check rule

But even last season it too Rose time.

For the first 2 months of the season, Rose was averaging around 5 free throw attempts per game. That really isn't a lot for a guy who attacks the basket as much as he does.

So really.. only 3 months of his whole career was he getting calls. I wouldn't call him the "king" of that.
