Without Grimson to do these threads the board has been slacking. Who are you watching today?

TCU VS Oklahoma State should be fun to watch this afternoon and there are some big games tonight with playoff implications as MSU is facing Nebraska and LSU vs Bama.

Northwestern hosts Penn State this morning too for those that pull for the Wildcats or just want a closer look at Hackenberg. Kick off in thirty minutes, I believe.

Do the games just feel less important when a woman is the play by play announcer? No offense to women, but I just can't take the game as seriously.

I think it is more the specifc woman doing the broadcast. The hefty lesbian, phlegmy throat voice has been in vogue for woman announcers, and I don't get why these people have jobs.

I can't stand the woman doing the Vandy vs Florida game.

Take your pick this morning, Florida's Hargreaves, Stanley and Smith Notre Dame, Hackenberg Penn State, there's a lot of Big Board prospects playing early.

Jeremy Cash, S, Duke, is a guy who intrigues the hell out of me.

6'2" 210lbs, looks the part, can run, and is used in a ton of different coverages.

Was originally an Ohio St guy, but left when Tressel was fired.

Could be a versatile weapon for Fangio.

What round?

My guess is he will go 25-40.

If he runs well at that size all bets are off. He apparently has the Ohio St athletic ability.

Could be a 2nd round target for the Bears.

Give them a guy who can cover and blitz.

Connor Cook and Paxton Lynch will both be on display at 7 PM EST for those interested. Goff is on at 10:30 for the late crowd.

I would love to see bears build back defense going smith and cash or sutton in round 2...get Irvin or one of the better pass rushers in FA and defense will be back on business.

@CEmma670: Penn State DE Carl Nassib had the attention of Ryan Pace and some of the Bears' scouting department today, in attendance at Ryan Field.

I've never watched Paxton lynch play, apparently he's the top QB now. Anyone have any more info?

Deshone Kizer may end up being the #1 pick in the 2017 draft.

Would make for a great 2nd day pickup, that's if he's still on the board.
If the first two rounds shake out like this:

1st – Jaylon Smith
2nd – Carl Nassib

and we can sign one of Wilkerson or Miller in free agency, this defense might turn around a lot sooner than we think.

Not a big fan of Nassib personally.

I'm usually not a fan of most PSU players...still can't forgive that Curtis Enis pick. What really sucked is Jax offered their #9 and #25 for our #5. We declined and they drafted Fred Taylor and Donovan Darius
