Could you imagine if the Lions win two more games and the Bears lose out?
Would that change the fact they couldn't beat the Bears? You?Have ?No ?Argument ?Here.

I know this logic escapes you, but some teams get better as the season progress's, some get worse. It's rarely linear. I always knew the Lions would start out terribly bad, new coaching staff, new front office, playing younger players over overpriced FA vets, etc. Growing pains.

As it stands now, I would take the Lions trajectory over the Bears any day of the week, all things considered. The Bears are a hot mess right now, and while they do still retain some nice ageing players on defense, albeit on bloated contracts, they really have no hope of being relevant anytime in the near future, and limited draft capital to really have any hope at getting younger.

Sure the Lions could screw things up, as they have so many times in the past, but the argument that past history predicates the future is lame at best. It is funny how Bears fans point to the fact of the Lions lack of success in the past as proof they will continue to suck in the future, yet reject the same argument when it is brought up that no good QB has ever come from OSU, or the fact the Bears have never had a decent QB in the entire long history.

Lions had a 'decent' QB and still sucked the last decade. What's your point?

LOL that a good NFL QB will ever come from OSU, or that the Bears will ever have a franchise QB.
Pretty amazing that you can already predict Fields' future with the hot mess around him. So, are you going on record to say that Lawrence and Wilson are busts already as well?

Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, is it? It's a counter argument to the oft used logic that because the Lions have sucked in the past, they will suck in the future.

ergo

Using the same logic, Fields will suck for the aforementioned reasons, applying the same logic.

And you don't get it that the Bears suck. Just not as bad as the Lions. Literally every year. One day, the Lions may be better. But it wasn't yesterday and isn't today. So i hang my hat on that. Merry Christmas.

So your response to boneheaded logic is to regurgitate boneheaded logic? Seems quite daft.

The Lions dont suck now because they sucked in the past. They suck now because they are still making questionable decisions now.

Ha!
The Bears have made far more questionable decisions as of late than the Lions.

I never claimed otherwise hence why I want Pace and Nagy fired.

That in no way changes the fact that the Lions have sucked ass the past few years and made plenty of questionable decisions.

I can't think of any with the new Lions FO.
I can think of many with the current Bears FO.
If Pace and Nagy are let go, then the new Bears regime will get judged based on what they do, not their predecessors.
Your argument is severely lacking
