drafting him #4 overall too. I get 4 is worse than 2 in this scenario, but 4 was a pretty premier spot. ;/ may have been last draft where RBs went so high. Jones carried that team through 2006 postseason and traded him away to the Jets for a sack of marbles. preposterous.

Pretty clear that Fields has purged the Nagy from his system so now it’s a matter of continuing to build and learn from mistakes. He has flashes followed by oopsies. Sounds like what all young quarterbacks go through.

Although I hated the Benson pick, that was a pretty first round for offense other than Aaron Rodgers and Roddy White.
There were some good defensive players available that year, but would have been considered a reach at 4.
