I know the Russian Mark Cuban isn't the smartest guy in the universe (He gave Travis Outlaw $35 million), but seriously think about it -- if you were being offered Anthony Morrow and a first-round pick (more than likely protected, since the Nets suck) for Mayo, wouldn't you rather have that over the Bulls offering the horrendously overpaid Korver and our 25th-30th pick in the first round for Mayo? Doesn't make a lick of sense for Memphis.

The only way I see them parting with him is if we offered Asik and Brewer. They're going to want something substantial since Mayo was the 3rd pick in the draft in 2008. He's still got a lot of upside, I just think he can't escape Rudy ***'s shadow.

Not a chance we land Mayo without giving up Taj or Asik.

won't be any easier playing under Rose's shadow then.

I love Korver but as some of you said 1st and him for Mayo would be great. I think if our team is healthy especially Rip can win it all this year I really do.

The Grizzlies owner seems to have a strong dislike for Reinsdorf. So I don't think that will be happening anytime soon.

I'd trade for Mayo or Morrow. Morrow can fill it up as efficiently as anyone when he's healthy. Guy can shoot like 47% from the field and from 3...

I think he's referring to Mayo and *** both being wings.

Das' right. *** has more size and with all honesty, he just seems to fit their style better than Mayo.

I still don't think we're going to make a substantial move this year. We're one of the three best teams in the NBA, and having a front office and coach that values chemistry and continuity, I just don't see them taking a risk without knowing that there will be a substantial improvement (the mystical Dwight Howard trade, etc).

No way Korver + pick = Morrow + pick. Morrow isn't an All Star but he's a much better all around player than Korver is. Korver wouldn't be nearly enough.

Frankly, the deal that would make more sense is Watson + pick for Mayo.

Now that you mention it...that would definitely make more sense for Memphis.
