2.5 men was funny with Charlie Sheen. Sure it was drunk dick and fart jokes but they were funny drunk dick and fart jokes. Big Bang Theory is funny as well but being a nerd I get the culture and the references.

Blue Bloods first couple seasons weren't bad but it falls into the same issue as every other network drama, it never moves anywhere and becomes a bad guy of the week show. Best cop show ever was Southland because it didn't focus on the bad guy of the week. NCIS could have been epic but again bad guy of the week show but the characters are great and it could have been an awesome show if they focused on the characters and again not the bad guy of the week.

I am not a big fan of network TV because of its episodic nature, whereas cable tends to do more serialized stuff. I mean I'm a nerd and I like the Star Trek universe but man those shows are boring most of the time because (once again) problem of the week. Battlestar Galatica was the best sci-fi ever until season 3 where they drove it into the ground as fast as they could.

Also reality TV needs to fucking DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE. Resurrect Hitler and tell him reality TV are the jews and let him go to town. It is the worst thing ever to happen to television. Some of the stuff makes for an interesting 2 hour documentary like extreme couponing (I had the unfortunate displeasure of having to watch it on Thanksgiving) and Deadliest Catch. That kind of repetitive stuff makes for an interesting documentary to learn about those ways of life but makes for a shitty weekly show. Hell Ax Men, how do some of those idiots turn profits?

ND is horrible.
I thought it was going to be a comedy about bridge and tunnel goombahs and the name 'uncle junior' irritated the hell out of me. Oh how wrong I was although it is also one of the funniest shows ever made

A great show should be able to make you laugh and even cry or at least feel strong emotions.

GOT's fans?

Sad to see Madmen dip the last couple seasons or so.....I used to REALLY like that show. I mean I know a lot of the subtle progressive messaging is annoying, but the characters were just VERY strong imho.

Every show has a shelf life; that is the sad reality. Even Sopranos dipped in the last season.

Madmen was awesome once upon a time..Its really declined as of late..I heard they changed writers which may be the reason why

I'll do you one better. I was so hip I didn't even own a tv but then got one and borrowed a dvd of sopranos 3 seasons in, and got hooked on hbo stuff. I lived in ny when sopranos came out and remembered thinking based on the ads it looked like a shitty show. Then I discovered the best tv show ever made. And yeah aaron sorkin needs to start doing coke again because the news room was epic offal

Are you talking about The Wire? If so I agree.

Being interviewed before a super bowl, the reporter asked Calvin Thomas if he was excited about playing. He said that if the game is so importnat then why do they play it every year.

The point is that people like what they like and the network only shows programs that are watched.

You would be surprised at how little football I watch these days. IO never watch college football and unless it's a premium matchup dont watch much NFL

The Wire = GOAT.

Season 2 was kinda whack though.....about those Greeks, or was it Armenians actually, or Russians......Was it ever really revealed?

CIA?

It was left cryptic I think....

The first season with Bodie and the corner boys was the best television i've ever seen in my life bar none....BAR NONE.

You are aware network tv ratings have been tumbling for like a decade and a half now pretty precipitously, and this is especially true among younger viewers...

Is he jus trollin' tho/?

Hmm...

Grimm is pretty much required fare here and actually do an accurate job at depicing PDX.
Wife is a sucker for Criminal Minds. Has to be the Psychology angle.
Other than that the only non-sports TV I make it a point to catch is @Midnight, Tosh.0, and Brickleberry, but thery're not network.

For reruns, We've been doing Married With Children, Night Court, and Red Dwarf.

I gotta admit..I like the show..I know it can be lame, but Its set in Portland, where the houses are really cool (Arts and Crafts). Plus, the monsters are cool

Have to admit it is a guilty pleasure. They film alot close to where I work.

I can't get into arrow and I saw the flash once and it was good I just forget to watch and Gotham is the best comic book tv show. But im a Netflix guy. Oh I watch family guy and the Simpsons. But I record that shit cuz **** commercials that's why
