I thought McLeod was the assistant GM.
I thought McLeod was the assistant GM.
He's manly in charge of player developement and scouting. Wilken and Fleita will report to McLeod.
Sounds assistant-GM-ish to me. How many assistant GMs do you think Hoyer needs since he's essentially the assistant GM to Theo?
I'm not sure, but Hoyer still needs an assistant GM.
Isn't McLeod Assistant GM?
Thank goodness they'll announce all that soon in a press conference
Says Hoyer is definitely GM and McLeod is in charge of scouting and player development though. That sounds like an assistant GM job.
McLeod as Senior Vice President/Scouting and Player Development
I thought McLeod was the assistant GM.
McLoud is senior vice president/scouting director
No, he was banished from his village because he's The Highlander.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Mike Quade met with Theo Epstein and Jed Hoyer in person last week. During that meeting, Mike Quade was not given a final answer on if he’ll return next season.
The Sun-Times mentions Quade will meet with Theo Epstein and Jed Hoyer again this week and determine if he’ll return next season. By the end of the meeting Quade will know. If Quade does return, it’ll be his final year of a 2 year contract. He does have an option for the 3rd year though.
Jed Hoyer will be introduced in a press conference on Tuesday. No time has been announce. It’ll likely be at Wrigley Field and look similar to Theo Epstein’s press conference. It’s unclear whether Mike Quade’s decision will be announce during the press conference.
Tuesday could be a day we find out more answers. We’ll only see…
