Anyone interested in doing a CCS train group meet at Illinois Railway Museum in Union sometime in 2011.. Probably one of their weekends that they have an event..

Like diesel days which usually is in July.. August weekends aren't generally good because its Thomas weekends so a ton of kids there..

If anyone is interested we can figure out a day once they officially release the 2011 schedule..

Ive riden in the loco of the Nebraska Zephyr and honked the horn.. Thats at the railroad museum in Union..

Also the CNW heritage unit (Union Pacific 1995) they let me in the cab while it was on display.. which was awesome since its a modern unit that you would see running now..

yeah that is one of the current UP heritage engines.. they are only like 4 or 5 years old.. so in current service.

If you go by the UP west line.. (the metra line) you will see this engine go through every once and awhile depending on where Union Pacific has it on its system..

Track damage, hoppers damaged, I would assume that they lost money with any damaged/lost products in the hoppers..

When you figure those cars are filled with tons of materials.. It doesn't take much to ad up.
