Are ya sure on this number? I find it odd for the past 2 years that my old rep keeps calling me asking if I want season tiks again... I mean, unless they are trying to keep waiting lists big. I know this number was true in 2010, but I wonder if it still is.

I talked to rep 4 years ago about adding seats. Every year it's the same line:
We have quite a long list and it will take some time even from your spot in line.

When the Bears season ends you will see a drastic gain in demand for Blackhawks tickets.

Out of the 5 sports teams I believe they're probably the cheapest season ticket at my price point (300 level row 9 west end). The Bulls are probably pretty close.

I wonder if a phone call could gather some honesty from my rep?

Crazy! Then I wonder why my old rep calls me a couple times a year... I mean, lets say I said yes, she is just gonna add me to a 10,000 list?

lol@Bold. Mine tried to lie to me when I ditched mine at lockout, saying things like "We shipped the tickets to you, we cant refund." "We cant credit your card but can only send a check." "We cant send you a check but we can credit your card."

Even after the first call where I politely told her and the organ-i-zation to suck mud, she STILL calls... So maybe it was just my luck on reps...

At least you have a rep calling you. I know that the rep I had last season is gone, and I have yet to get an answer who my rep is.

Bears is 10 games and approximately $1450 a seat this season for me. And we are the fourth higested tier of pricing, second highest tier sans club.

Do you have to buy the seat licenses?

Initially after the rennovation. It is a one time cost as was bout $1400 a seat. With the prices that some of those PSL's in my section have been selling for I could cover my Hawks tickets for 4 or 5 seasons, with beer and food covered, per seat. Crazy.

I had the chance to sit in his seats for that uber-cold NO game.

Holy shit it got cold in the 3rd quarter.

Seats are fantastic. Finally got a chance to take pops to a Bears game.

$145.00/ea...I think, and I usually sell face to people that I know. Several from IHN have benefited from that generocity and some shown their thanks in the form of beer when they are stuck sitting next to me. I think the beer is to get me to pass out so I shut up, or make me to go the bathroom all the time so my unshowed stink is no longer in the section.

I was at that game... what the ****... I was in the south endzone, I liked the seats and the shade would have been great if it wasn't so chilly.

Well... how many do you have? Keep me in mind for the Dallas Monday night football game if something happens and you can't attend or something, my brother and his friend are trying to come in for that one. And I told them I would go with them if we can find reasonable prices. but I hate spending $200 for seats slightly closer than my balcony. I actually took a picture of my apartment from my seats at the NO game.

We have a max of 6, with 4 together and 2 together. Dallas game is already spoken for.

Jumping on the 'how many fights have you seen?' question:

Been to about 100 games since '95 (don't forget I have never lived in Chicago as an independent or gainfully employed adult and I left completely in 1999). I have seen 1 fight in the stands that lasted three punches.

Rocky is so full of shit....

Man you guys, been away from IHN for a while.

As for Rocky, totally full of shit. As for you guys not seeing fights......they are not prevalent but I have seen more than a few, and one of the most memorable was the guy falling do most of the 300 level years back BHP mentioned, definitely was the same fight.

There was a big brawl at a Wings-Hawks game back in 07' in the SRO section, even though it really wasn't sold out, thats where the fight was. I saw one between a drunk thug and middle aged man two rows in front of me back in the same year, and then probably a few more here and there through the years.

Mainly, I went to a shit load of games when we sucked and tickets were $8, so my odds of seeing a fight were great, but regardless its a sporting event. In every sport, in every country, people fight at games. More kid friendly my ass, your bringing your kids to a very violent and fast paced game where fighting is allowed and championed (hope it never changes). Some of my greatest memories in my life were at Hawks games growing up, saw many an argument and a few scuffles as a kid....didn't scare me away, and if you are HONESTLY interested and wanting to be a the United Center for a Hawks game, two drunk morons swinging and missing each others faces will never keep you away.

Rocky and the guys at the top are very shrewd business men. The understand women and kids enjoying the game experience is the greatest thing for business, much to the chagrin of your typical male fan, as long as women and children love the Hawks money will always be rolling in. Back in 06' Jesse Rogers use to mention all the time that his 8 year old didn't know who the Blackhawks were, and if you lined up 10 average Chicago women and gave them Hawks tickets they would have rather stayed in and watched Sex in the City.

Times have changed, for the better in so many ways, and for worse in a lot of the little ways that kept me going as a fan when we truly sucked.

It does suck that TCD and PMX are gone, they were my two favorite female posters.

Bri was actually a 40 year old man.
